I tried Sushi Boat when I had a few friends in town. Like most restaurants in Union Square, it was overpriced and mediocre.
We spent significantly more than when we go to my favorite sushi place, Ebisu, for less food and fish that did not taste fresh.
It gets 2 stars because the food was not terrible, only mediocre.

I've been to several revolving sushi restaurants, both here in the U.S. and in Tokyo -- and this one is my favorite. It's my two daughters' favorite also. The selection is always fresh and interesting, and the service is attentive. I love the friendly way they greet us and say good bye, just like in Tokyo.

This is a small whole in the wall sushi restaurant but they have great food. My boyfriend took me here on one of our first dates and it was really a cute little spot. There is no parking except for in a garage where you have to pay lots of money, but that's not the point. Their prices are a little expensive but the experience is worth it. The staff was friendly and attentive.

If you love sushi in great quantities, Sushi Boat is the place for you. The fun of choosing your sushi off the boats as they circle around the bar is added to by the joy of low prices! Each plate is only $1.25-$2.50 for two pieces of sushi, so you can eat as much as you want! Service is friendly, and of course there's no waiting.

I ate one of the rolls off of the floating boats and didn't enjoy it. I also ordered a roll to see how the chef would do and it was average at best. I like the theme but the quality was not there. Also the restaurant is downstairs and

Pros: Boats are entertaining
Cons: food was poor quality
Im a sushi freak, I love sushi, and especially, I love GOOD sushi. Ive been the sushi boat a few times, mostly with relatives that come to town, and its always fun, but the sushi itself is pretty mediocre. Sushi comes around on different colored boats, tiered into a price system. I always get nervous that the sushi is going to fall off into the water, and it has happened to me a few times! Be careful!

A flight of steps down to this cozy little restaurant and you're tucked away from the hubbub of Union Square. Service was very courteous--a forgotten order of soup was complimentary & arrived with apologies. Sushi was okay, a few
