So many shoes to choose from! Best part is that alot of styles are on sale or at fair prices. Great place to hunt for shoes to match a particular outfit. Big and roomy store so you rarely would feel crowded. Multiple counters and fast service helps with the reduced wait.
An excellent place to get your fill on shoes.

DSW downtown has an alright selection of shoes. They typically have some good deals in the basement clearence area, but you have to walk all the way down the stairs.

Floors and floors of shoes! Oh my!
If you love shoes, you will love DSW. They have a great selection of shoes, very nicely and neatly arranged. Even though it's a discount store, it doesn't FEEL like one. It's well-kept and clean. On any given day, there are tons of shoppers, so be prepared for that. Even the men can go crazy here. They have a wonderful men's shoes section.
Highly recommend!

DSW always carries amazing brands (including BCBG, Bebe and more) and gorgeous shoes for much less. The San Francisco DSW consists of 3.5 floors (one floor is more like an alcove) with half-a-floor's worth of men's shoes. You can find some of the best deals anywhere in the basement where shoes regularly priced at over $!00, $200 or more are 50% off.

DSW is like a Ross Dress for Less or a Marshalls, but for shoes and purses. You can find lots of shoes (mostly last season/ year's styles) for men and women on sale. Think Shoe Pavilion but much bigger and with a much larger selection.
I've never been to other locations, but the SF DSW is HUGE! Three floors of shoes and a loft area for puses and bags. Some of the shoes at DSW are kind of funky and you can't imagine anyone wanting to wear them, but you really can find all kinds of shoes here. When I need shoes for a particular outfit, I usually head here first to see if I can find a good deal.

A large shoe store selling discount name brand shoes. There's a basement clearance floor with shoes that are an additional 20% to 80% off the sticker price. Shoes are not dirt-cheap; there aren't many shoes below about $30. There's a street level floor with women's shoes, another floor with men's shoes, and a mezzanine with purses and bags. There are some nice shoes and good deals here. If you join their club, you get a merchandise credit with every $250 you spend. Service is average.

This is the kind of store where you go "shopping". Try not to arrive with specific shoes in mind, just go with the flow and see what pops up. New arrivals every day, so the fun never stops. Designer shoes at really low prices.
