I'm a big stickler for hygiene. Especially, when your dealing with food. The place is nice, but as far as the food. Pricey, service is either slow or somewhat disgusting. Just because you have gloves on, does not mean you touch the food than handle the money. What's the point? The most dirtiest thing is money.

Andornico's is another one of those great gourmet grocery stores in the Los Altos area. They carry great produce, meat, fish and wine. TThe bakery is filled with beautiful items. The fhelp behind the counters are so knowledgeable in the areas they are servicing - it is really wonderful.

A good balance of quality to price, Andronico's has upscale foods like Draegers without the hoity toity, and reasonable down to earth prices like Safeway without the drek.
