Wise Surfboards

For surfers who have lived in the bay area long, this is a well known spot. Best selection of boards and equipment I've ever seen. The shop was opened over 20 years ago by local surfers and continues to be run by them. Sometimes you may sense a bit of a tude... but that's only because everyone there would probably rather be out on the waves then in the store.

THis is a surf shop that is right on the beach in San Francisco. The staff is very well acquainted with needs of every surfer and can tell you what kind of surf board works well for each person.

PROS: Great staff and a great variety of surfboards.
CONS: Very expensive.
