New Metro Tile Co

This place is great! It's a hidden jewel of a showroom. New Metro carries the best quality tile lines -- but at really great prices. The staff is actually very curteous, and highly knowledgeable. No high pressure sales tactics here - just nice and easygoing. I've also found this store to be very fair in their policies -- informing me as to what their policies are before I buy. They sell mainly to contractors and tradespeople, but many homeowners shop here also. They really do beat all the alternatives for beautiful tile at decent prices as far as the greater Los Angeles area is concerned.

If you're remodeling a vintage home, you need to know about New Metro Tile. I searched a billion places and finally found this one. When I did find one inch hex elsewhere, it was $10-$13 per square foot. Then they had to order it, usually a week's wait. Here the tile was something like $5.50, and they had it in stock. You can get hard to find subway tile here too. Nice people. A little hard to find, but worth the hunt.

I was refer to this place by a bathroom contractor. Their price is very competitive compare to other tile company. For instance, a 3x6 white costs $2.98 per sq.ft, and if it is made by Dal-Tile, then it is $3.10 per sq.ft, whereas other tile company will be selling that for about $4.00 or higher per sq.ft. A Westminister V-Cap will cost for $2.96 each where as other tile company will cost for $3.36. People there are helpful too. The only bad thing I would say there is no return, so you must be accurate to how many you'll need for your project.
