5 Stars: Superb Thai food - Bai Yook (by Kay J.)

Absolutely delicious and authentic Thai food. Yummy appetizers: satay chicken/beef, golden shrimp, and triangle crispy and tasty. Excellent pad thai noodles and the panang curry with duck is awesome. Friendly service and easy parking in strip mall.

4 Stars: Good Thai! (by Trisha O.)

This little place is inside of a shopping plaza, but is really cute! I love the coconut milk soup. My girlfriends and I crave this restaurant. The staff is not completely friendly, but the food is good. The prices are reasonable and they have a lunch special. I would recommend them. =)

3 Stars: Ok food and service (by Dennis D.)

Been to this place several times and I like my first visit and decided to come back but was disappointed that both of the entree that I want was out that night ( Friday night) so I was disappointed, so I ended up ordering something which I normally don't order and some kind of fish soup well it turned out good, service was attentive but can do better. ( perhaps give us that famous Thai smile) I like the cozy ambiance inside but I the outside needs some sprucing up. Just keep your cool looking for parking after all its Hillcrest where parking is a premium.

PROS: Cozy ambiance, price
CONS:

3 Stars: Decent Thai food in a strip mall (by Shannon L.)

The food at Bai Yook is good, but not great. I personally think Thai Time (locations in North PArk and downtown) has better food. Still, Bai Yook is a cute, fairly inexpensive place to have a meal, and you can also get take out. Parking in this lot can be completely insane on evenings and weekends. I mean it, insane. Be careful.
