Generals Daughter

This restaurant is in a Victorian Farm House. It is like
being in a friend's house. The tables have white table
cloths with flowers in the middle. The menu has a
great selection of great food. I really enjoy the salads for
lunch. Awesome! The prices are good. The staff is
very helpful and friendly.

The food here is exquisite!
The menu is ever changing being dependent upon the seasons~ always offering the best and the freshest items to their customers!
Many items are grown right on the grounds of the restaurant~ and other items are purchased from local growers.

I recently had the pan fried steak and fries~ yum! It sounds like a simple dish~ and it was~ simple yet fabulous!
I also had the grilled peach salad~ this was a special as it is usually a grilled fig salad...but since peaches were fresh this was added~ and it was fabulous!!

The service was great~ attentive but not hovering. The server actually knew the menu and had tasted the dishes himself (you don't find this often!).
The patio is fabulous~ though on a hot day you can beat the AC inside where there is also fabulous farmhouse artwork on the walls!
