Ariake is one of my favorite sushi places. They have a huge selection and everything is super fresh. The boats are also fresh which I notice as an issue at other places.

This is a great casual restaurant to get japanese food. We had sushi off of their "boats" which made it quick and we ordered chicken teriyaki. The portions were good sized. We like the variety of sushi rolls.

Ariake's has decent food, and it is very reasonably priced! The portions are very large, but stay away from the sashimi because it tastes like it has been frozen! The service is a little slow, but friendly!

I'm sorry.. this is bad. I went there and had an ok food before, and that was probably over 5 years ago. This time I was so surprized that the food was horrible. Mushy tempura, way-over sweet Katsudon and etc. Non-Japanese Sushi chef was on the cell phone for the entire time we werew there, making Sushi with one hand, speaking loud. I coldn't believe my eyes. Tempura sauce was fishy and I just lost appetite completely. The waiter was polite, but first showed us to the table chewing on the food mouthful, couldn't even greet. I cold see inside of his mouth and it was rather disgusting. The suchi chef came out after he finished with the phone also was mouthful of food. Is anyone taking the job seriously? Or am I expecting too much?

Ohhh...where to start. Ariake is friendly, polite, and most importantly, tasty! They have the biggest California Rolls you've ever seen; the nigiri is fresh; the tempura is hot; the ambiance is fun. They have sushi boats too. This particular location is a little on the crowded side, but seating usually doesn't take longer than 10-15 minutes. If you are looking for a cost effective sushi meal, this is the place!

Pros: Inexpensive, Tasty, Good Service

Cons: Crowded, Noisy

I've been going to ariake for over 4 years; both locations. The food is good. Not out of this world. But Good. And that works just fine for me. Their prices are reasonable (get absolutely STUFFED on sushi alone for <$25). Sushi is fine. Their other dishes (terriyaki, Udon, Tempura) are average. But their rolls are just great. Not authentic by any means, but tasty (with funny names like the Clinton and Lewinsky rolls) throughout the huge variety. They have all the favorites like rainbow and spider rolls. And they have unique ones like the Sunrise roll: two massive california rolls wrapped with salmon and maguro, topped with Tobiko (flying fish roe) and crowned with a raw quail egg yolk. One of the most savory bites of sushi I've ever had.
