Adalberto's Mexican Food

Adalberto's Mexican Food is absolutely the VERY best place in San Diego to get taco's and quesadillas - their cheese is to die for!! I used to spend at least one week per month in San Diego on business and I never ate Mexican food anywhere else but Adalberto's!! I'm coming back for pleasure in a week or so and the first place I'm headed is Aldaberto's!! I'm so glad to find it's still there by the Navy Base on Rosecran's!!

I was stationed in San Diego while in the navy for 5 years and 3 years after that. This is by far the best burritos in all my travels. I have tried for years to find a place half as good as this place but i haven't been to find one. I did find a Adalberto's in Fairfield (outside of Sacramento) same people own this place..Man i was in heaven. I stopped in there as often as i could. I now live in TX and the mexican food is different here(not good) I'm heading to San Diego for a business meeting next month. First stop Adalberto's

My husband raves about this restaurant from the time he was stationed in San Diego. He absolutely loves their carne asada burritos, and wishes there was an Aldaberto's closer to us than San Diego.

He highly recommends everyone go there and try that burrito.

I love Mexican Food. Adalbertos has the best Mexican Food. We usually get the Steak & Egg burrito or the Bacon & Egg burrito for breakfast... Or, the Chicken Chimichanga for dinner... oh my gosh its good. The food isn't great for you... but it is great tasting!

Can you say fatty burritos? This place is great for the starving and broke college student. It's open 24 hours, so stop in any time of day. But the location is somewhat sketchy. My friend was in their late one night when a bullet came in through the window. The guy behind the counter thought he did it, but it was someone driving by. Also, "The Fling" is right next door, so some interesting people are hanging about. I would not suggest going there alone at night if you're a girl because some drunk pervert next door may try to hit on you. But it's all worth it for their cheap and delicious burritos!
