My husband and I had our first date here 10 years ago and go every year. We love the food and the staff has terrific wine knowledge. I always get the salmon farfalle which is so flavorfull and zesty. It's a nice atmosphere and in our ten years we've never had anything less than a stellar experience.

The Italian food here is really authentic and it's a really cute little restaurant. You sometimes have a wait if you go when it's really busy, but the food and service are worth the wait. Consistently good food.

I have gone to this restaurant for over 12 years and it has always been great. It is quaint and a great place for a date night. The food is always consistent and the service is great.

I thought this restaurant was horrible!!!!! My server was an African American girl and she was wonderful attentive and very apologetic for the kitchen taking forever to get our food ready. We made a few modifications which were assurred to be ok and the kitchen decided to ignore the requests! Don't go on a Sunday is all I have to say. There was no manager on the premise to speak with about our experience either. The food was good when we finally got what we ordered and again the service was great. However I believe the management and the kitchen need some work. I would not reccomend this restaurant or the "sister" restaurant Aqua Blue. Both apparently owned by the same man who doesn't seem to manage his buisnesses well!!!!

My boyfriend and I were visiting San Diego last weekend, and we weren't very hungry, but we wanted to have dinner at a local restaurant anyway. We decided to try Bella Luna. We each ordered an appetizer and a salad, and unfortunately, our waiter decided that we weren't worth his time. He walked away with a promise to bring us bread, and we didn't see him again until he presented the bill. We had to ask for bread and for our water glasses to be refilled (after lengthy waits). Our food tasted fine but took much longer to arrive than warranted, and we ultimately felt the meal to be overpriced. I went away really upset by the experience.

A fabulous italian restaurant. Food and service is excellent. This is probably my favorite place to go out for Italian food. It can get very busy on the weekend, so we usually like to go during the week. The decor is warm and simple but stylish at the same time with several beautiful "luna" painting from local artists displayed on the wall. Dinner menu and prices can be seen on http://www.bellalunasandiego.com/index.html, along with complete wine list. An excellent choice for a romantic dinner or upscale group setting. Favorites of mine - Mozzarella e Pomodoro (Antipasti) and Galleto al Forno (petit chicken breast) Also the Tierimisu is the best I've had in a long time.
