4 Stars: Hong Kong Restaurant- Late Night Fave! (by SYLVIA I.)

After gigs, I often head for the Hong Kong in Hillcrest for their delicious Hot & Sour Soup and tasty dumplings. The food is fresh and sizzling hot, and I enjoy the rapport with the staff. They give the best service and always with a smile. Late night munchies are handled here with great satisfaction!

3 Stars: Pricy, but gets the job done. (by David H.)

This is one of my only options to eat non-Mexican, non-fast food late at night so I can't really complain about the food when they is nothing to compare it to at 2AM. They have great hours since they do open till 230AM every night so you could hit this up after the club. They have pretty good entrees that cost just under 10 bucks. My main complaint is that they only give you a little bit of rice with every entree and they charge you for extra rice....but then again, all Chinese restaurants do that in SD.

3 Stars: Cheap, greasy, and good Chinese. (by Christopher M.)

Some people won't go to Hong Kong because they say it upsets their stomach. But I really enjoy the place. The food is cheap, greasy, quick, and good. The tables are jammed together, but who cares? Get take-out if you had the crowd.

5 Stars: Hidden Treasure (by Vietca D.)

Ever feel like good ol' Chinese food past midnight, and fret for there's nowhere to go? Have no fear! Hong Kong Restaurant is open DAILY until 230a! Yes, in the wee hours of the night, you can satisfy your cravings in an area that's always crawling with a good night life. Go here for midnight munchies or better yet, this would make a great after-club spot. The staff talks to every customer as if they were old friends. Whatever your reasons, the one reason to go here would be the phenomenal food. Everything on the menu is delicious and cooked to perfection.
