I took my truck(2008 Colorado Crew Cab 4WD Z71) in for service due to a misfire condition. After several days I had to call the service dept to get an update which I was told the cylinder head needed replacing and they were waiting on parts. over the next 2 weeks I never once received a call with updates. When I FINALLY got the truck back they had NOT done the synthetic oil change I requested, and did NOT reset the oil life monitor and it was making a funny chirping noise when I drove off. I returned 30 min later and Juan told me they had gotten oil on the belts. After a week I returned due to the noise and talked to the other service manager and he told me the truck had a cracked exhaust manifold that Juan knew about and failed to notify me. I made an appt to get it replaced and a week later had it done. Once the service was complete Steve told me the manifold was not installed correctly and was never cracked at all. Total time at dealer was about a month. It is now march, I look under truck and oil was EVERYWHERE. Took it in, maintenance manager from Griener took care of it and after 2 days told me the oil filter had a leak and was being replace, this time with the synthetic. They problem WAS fixed under warranty, BUT again after I asked for calls and updates, I was NEVER called. After 3 days I got my truck back and 2 days later I looked under again and noticed they failed to put my skid plate back on. Service claimed it had a broken bolt and didn't want to put it back on and have it bother me by rattling; this would have been fine if they would have told me the first time or recommended I replace or remove it. I have NOT had a single time I have taken my truck in for service and not had to return a few days later with another problem cause by their service. The ONLY good thing is every time I had to take it back, they admitted the screwed up and made attempts to fix the problem. I recommend going either to Quality Chevrolet in Escondido, or Kearny Mesa Chevrolet.

We took our car to Poway Chevrolet for repairs and a new battery. When we picked it up,the car wasn't done when it was promised, We couldn't do a test drive due to no gas. Then the battery died, Battery was too small for car and the light on on the dash should have calibrated within a couple of miles. The when the battery was dead, the service tech accused us of not getting gas. I would not recommend this service department.

I have been taking my Suburban to Poway Chevrolet for many years. They have kept it running and on the road! The service coordinators are always so pleasant and so helpful. They return calls promptly and they call you during the day while they are working on your car to let you know the progress and to let you know about any additional problems they discover. Poway Chevrolet is tops in my book!

I have been taking my truck to Poway Chevrolet for a long time. Juan does a great job coordinating the work to be done on my truck. The staff at Poway Chevrolet is always really friendly. I know I can trust them to do the job right.
