I went to Marlon solely on the reviews on here and I am thrilled with my hair. I have lived in San Francisco for 7 years and have not found someone who really got my fine, slightly wavy hair... until now. I will be back.

I absolutely adore Marlon Ramos. He's great with everything - cuts, color and Japanese Hair Straight ! On the rare occasion when I've gone somewhere else ( because I've been out of town or out of my mind ), he saved my hair from horrible mistakes ( color gone wrong and jagged looking cuts ). Currently I have my 3rd Japanese Hair straight from Marlon, and many times over; wonderful cuts and colors. I get complements all the time on how great I look. Marlon is fantastic! I have been going to see Marlon for the past 6 months. I am so glad that I have finally found a colorist that knows what I want and is able to satisfy his clients. I have seen colorists off and on for a long time, and I finally found one.If you want a drastic look, he is eager and ready to do what you want . Marlon is awesome with highlights! He also give me great tips in how to keep my color when it starts to fade. Marlon has an amazing eye for color and you will not be unhappy with the results. Trust me!

I have long hair. I'm from NY and never had a problem getting a good cut there but since I moved to SF it's been a different story. Everywhere I went left my hair too short, and it had to grow out for 3 weeks before I stopped hating it. Then I went to Marlon Ramos ... he's great! My hair looks great ! Happy ending.....

I couldn't be more pleased with my entire experience with Marlon. I travel a lot and have been to every major city and most high end salons in all parts of the country. Marlon at Frange Blue really does it right. I meet Marlon and he took his time with me and changed my look quite a bit! I was a little nervous at first, but after he spoke with me, I felt so at ease that I let him do his thing and I am so happy with the results!! I normally don't let someone change my haircut on the first visit, but Marlon speaks so well and really knows his craft. I will be with Marlon Ramos from now on! Thanks Marlon!!!

I have been to see Marlon Ramos about 5 times now and I have to say that I feel like I've known him for years! He is a wonderful stylist who really listens to your needs. I get compliments on my hair all the time. Which I have to say has never happened to me before I meet Marlon. I always thought that I had "bad hair". But Marlon gave me a style that really is perfect for my hair texture. I love the way he showed me how to dry my hair and all of the products he recommended ACTUALLY WORK!! So, if you need a new lease on life (as far as your hair goes), ask to see Marlon!!!

Marlon is a brilliant Hair stylist. My hair is perfect every time I leave him. I travel a lot so I occasionally go else where to get my haircut. He fixes it every time. No matter how badly they other people screw it up he gets back to looking like me. Not to mention his wit; he makes 45 minutes in a salon go by so fast. It's always a great time....

Marlon does wonders for your hair. I have seen people come in with horrible cuts and colors and they walk out looking fabulous . I have been a client for years and a week does not go by that I do not receive a compliment on my Hair. Marlon has a wonderful personality , not like some prima donnas in downtown San Francisco. He does not waste your time as he makes effective recommendation on what shape or color would best suit your hair and facial features. Go see Marlon Ramos, you will not be sorry!

I have been going to Marlon Ramos at Frange Blue almost loyally for three years. Marlon has been able to miraculously fix my mishaps ( My hair was a frosted disaster after getting highlights done in Paris and Marlon didn't even scold me after my shameless bout with manic panic ). He was even able to easily resuscitate me back into a blonde after foolishly going red. In other words, he's seen it all and done it all. Now, my hair looks the healthiest and most natural it has ever looked and the cut is fantastic. And it's lovely to be in a place where everyone is enjoying themselves and the service is spectacular.

I met Marlon Ramos last week for the first time . I found Marlon over the Internet and I must say It has being my best discovery this year so far.! I was flying to Los Angeles every time I needed my Japanese Relaxer ( Thermal-Reconditioning ) touched up. I was very afraid to go anywhere else. But the traveling was getting on my nerves..... I decided to take at Citysearch , and now ,after having Marlon done my Thermal I know I do not need to fly to LA for a hair day any longer.

Marlon was sent to me from Heaven! He is wonderful and magical. Marlon colors my hair as if I were a movie star and he puts up with me and makes me feel so comfortable! He cuts my hair as if I was getting ready for the Red Carpet and he has so much patience. Marlon puts so much into his work and make you feel so special. I have never looked so forward to get my hair done!

I love Marlon. I am a performer and often need a blow-out or a fun, cute style and Marlon never lets me down. He is patient and listens to what I want ( while so many hairdressers don't! ) and VERY, very talented. I get compliments on my hair every time I see Marlon. I've tried many other top salons and stylist in San Francisco, and nothing else compares. the skill,atmosphere, friendliness of staff etc...makes Marlon at Frange Blue a top notch. I can't say enough about Marlon Ramos at Frange Blue Hair Salon... from the atmosphere to the gracious compliments, Marlon Ramos gives all the warmth and professionalism any Hairstylist could offer. I have been going to Marlon RAmos at Frange Blue for over 7 months now and every time my hair looks like I come off a movie set. I have curly hair that is hard to manage. I went to so many other hair stylist trying to find someone who could give me a tremendous cut and Highlights/color. Marlon finally came to my rescue and I can keep my hair long! I had the opportunity to get my hair cut with Marlon Ramos at Frange blue Hair salon and I was very impressed! Marlon is a very classy stylist. I was recommended to have Marlon Ramos cut my hair and he did a great fob! I have a few oddities the way my hair grows and most stylist just give me the run of the mill cut and then my hair looks bad for a couple of weeks. Marlon was great and he really knew HOW to cut my hair. I got comments for a couple of days what a great hair cut I got. I would highly recommended him!

I recently got my hair highlighted by Marlon and it is so beautiful. There is a lots of golden and red highlights on a auburn base. Marlon does the base as well as the highlights, he's very talented. I get compliments all the time on the street!

The best hair colorist in the city, quite possibly in the US. My hair is gorgeous! I have a lots of hair and he colors it as naturally as possible, no one even knows that its colored. I've gone from platinum to dark blonde , and everyone thinks its naturally still! Marlon is a INCREDIBLE ARTIST. You can not find a better person to do your hair in san Francisco.

I never looked better! I went into Frange Blue to see Marlon with change on my mind! I was recommended from a friend who literally went from mousey to Model in an hour! I told Marlon " my hair is in your hands!" The detail and precision made me feel important! I have never had a stylist care so much about their client. I LOVE IT! I will never get my hair cut and colored by anyone else!!! If you are looking for a change, color, trim, whatever - Marlon Ramos is AMAZING.

I just had my haircut with Marlon Ramos and I loved it! He had me booked for a blowout, but he gladly took me for a haircut I badly needed. It was my first time with him and I felt like I was a client for years. The staff was extremely friendly and the consultation and cut I received from Marlon was top notch. Marlon even took the time to teach me the best way to care for my new cut. It was so refreshing to go to someone with a high end quality, but without the snotty, high maintenance staff! I would highly recommend Marlon Ramos!

Marlon gave a great cut.I have not had one like this in a while! Marlon really listened to what I wanted and suggested a cut that was just right for my hair type, and when I washed and styled it a few days later it just fell into place. The place is friendly and warm and everyone there is so welcoming. Great conversation too! I will be back again.

I had the pleasure of getting my hair straighting (thermal-reconditioning) about a month ago with Marlon. It was my first experience with him and it was fantastic. As I sipped on a glass of wine, Hairstylist Marlon went to work on my hair . It come out perfect. I WAS VERY SATISFIED. Two weeks later I went back for some highlights and again I WAS VERY SATISFIED. I will definitely go back to Marlon to get my hair done again.

Marlon Ramos is a master and this Salon is a fabulous relaxing place to get beautiful. My color is always gorgeous and I leave the salon feeling amazing. Over the years I had the best and the worst of salon services, until I decided to go to Marlon at Frange Blue Hair salon. Marlon is the best professional, friendly and highly skilled individual. I had my hair cut by Marlon last week and could not be happier! He is a talented and funny guy that makes you feel comfortable. Many salons in the city makes men feel strange to be there, but Marlon makes everyone feel at ease. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. Feel yours stress slip away as you are served wine and listen to great music Marlon listens to what you say and comes up with something new that you can maintain day to day. He's not on salon "auto pilot" cranking out one cookie cutter style after another. He develops individual looks for this clientele. The whole staff seem to be happy ti be working with such a talented funny man. I will absolutely continue to go to Marlon Ramos.

The reason why i wound up at Frange Blue to see Marlon: I had the worst haircut ever... my salon expanded and I got one of the new stylists.. I thought it would be fine but murphys law kicked in and omg my hair was awful... turns out due to some issues of my own with my hair from other salons ( highlighting, dying and styling ) had caused my hair to split majorly... It was so damage he had to cut it all off... the woman had no idea what she was doing and gave me a haircut between a mulllet, pixie, and bob. I was in tears. Marlon fixed my hair color and cut. Thank you Marlon big time....

I've being getting Thermal-reconditioning and highlight from Marlon for over two years. The color is exactly what i want and the Thermal is always terrific - perfect for the office, yet fabulous and fun for the weekends. I look and feel extraordinary.

Quite simply, no other haircut I've gotten compares to the one I get from Marlon. Over the years, I'd been to a dozen places looking for a haircut I liked with no satisfaction. Marlon's cut is stylish, professional, and more flattering than any other cut I've had. The salon itself has a very nice atmosphere. The people are laid-back, friendly, and helpful. I actually enjoy going, whereas with most places it felt more like a trip to the dentist. overall, would give the salon my highest recommendation.

I've been getting my hair color and cut by Marlon for around seven years and have never considered going elsewhere since. I found Marlon from a recommendation, and soon realized that I randomly stumbled upon salon that was different in many ways. Since my initial visit, i've found Marlon to be a rare find in San Francisco. Marlon is a very talented stylist that understood what I was looking for in a Hairstyle from the beginning. The atmosphere at Frange Blue Hair salon has more of a personal, local neighborhood type of feel. this is just an added plus to going somewhere for a color or cut, being able to relax, and know that you're in excellente hands.
