First vet I saw there was Dr. Martin in July 2007. She is absolutely useless, doesn't know or care a bit. And she wears loud, clunky shoes - in a vet hospital, where animals are scared already! She's an idiot.
Secondly I requested Dr. Gardner, as I heard that he is THE one. He did start a great treatment for my cat, but symptoms came back. As he was gone for a while, I saw Dr. Somanski and Dr. Reed, but both were clueless. I spent a lot of money there, and got no help. Their prices are also outrageous, and I have called around to compare - an x-ray here costs over $200, while somewhere else $140. I would not ever recommend this animal hospital to anyone.
I had to take my dog in to VCA -Albany because he got part off a stick in his eye. and of course he was in pain but they view the pain from his eye as an aggression. I not not sure why? If we ( humans) had a part of a stick in our eye I'm sure we would be hard to deal with as well. They were well over price for the services they did and above all they were rude to my pet and I. I would not recommend VCA -Albany.
We have been using the services of VCA for almost ten years after having had an unhappy experience with a nearby vet. VCA Albany has consistently treated our dogs with kindness, care and excellent diagnostic services. The dogs (4 seniors) love the staff and we appreciate the senior discount available to pet guardians who are over the age of 65. Kudos to all at VCA!
