I will drive from SSF to SF just for a Ti Yaki...which is a fish shaped waffle-based pastry. Its filled w/ red bean, chocolate or choc and banana. They a variety of other items as well.

May's coffee shop is a small hole in the wall place. It serves a random mix of food from hot dogs to sandwiches. Their menu is not all that great. What makes this place stands out the most is their mochi selection! They have great mochi. The staff is super friendly and willing to help you make a selection. The mochi goes for about $0.50 each from what I can remember or you can get multiple ones at a small discount. Overall, I recommend stopping here to try out the delectable mochi and Japanese snacks.

I could still taste the nitrates on my tongue! I had a spam and eggs over easy breakfast and my friend, their waffle plate. He ended up keeping on picking on my plate since his wasn't enough.
On the plus side, there is that waterfall nearby, that especially when your back is turned from it, you can make believe you're in the tropics somewhere. That helps with the denial.
On the bright side, this place does serve a pretty good variety of food considering their kitchen limitations. They have fish and chips which I always hope to order someday, even though I always get sidetracked by their Hawaiian specialties. They have spam musubi too, a variety of udon dishes, etc.
When you want something Hawaiian and have no desire to eat at a drive- in type of place, this is next best alternative. Cleaner too!
Pros: When you want something Hawaiian
