I love pasta  5 Star Rating - World class

This is a great restaurant if you love pasta. They have all kinds of pasta. I have tried a lot of different dishes there and haven't been let down yet. They are a little pricey, but well worth it. It is one of the classier restaurants in town. It is right on the water and has an awesome view across the estuary of Jack London Square.

Great Pasta!! 5 Star Rating - World class

I always order the same thing Salmon Picatta. It has grilled salmon with sauteed mushrooms, capers and fresh basil in a creamy lemon, butter, and white wine sauce tossed with penne. To die for!!! If you go on a weekend, make reservations if you want to sit by the window.

Pros: The food, Overlooking the water and a warm fireplace.
Cons: No booths

MY FAVORITE ON ALAMEDA 5 Star Rating - World class

I have been dining here for at least 10 years, first when I lived in NY and visited, and now that I am living here on Alameda. The food is wonderful, especially the seafood ravioli in a wonderful cream sauce. The salads are also outstanding, as are the pizzas. I am a vegetarian and always findsomething wonderful on the menu. The desserts are fantastic too! The owner is a great person, and many of the servers are relatives who make you feel extremely important. Every table has a view of the water, and the fireplace in winter make it cozy and romantic too. Great prices and ambience. Don't miss this one.

Pros: Great Food, Service and Ambience
Cons: Would like to see more fish specials

One of my favorites 5 Star Rating - World class

I'm not really sure what the other reviewers experienced when they say 'just average'. I love this place and I've been going for years. The wait staff is friendly, helpful and responsive to special requests. The food is outstanding! Try the sferas (meatballs) and calamari as appetizers and the seafood ravioli for your entree. YUMMY! The view of Jack London Square across the water pairs nicely with a glass (or two) of their reasonably priced wine. I've brought many friends from out of town to this restaurant and it never ever disappoints.

Pros: yummy food, great view, top service
Cons: none

Canned Italian 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I love Italian food. Italians pride themselves on using the freshiest ingredients. There is nothing really innovative or fresh about the food. Everything tastes like it came from a can or from the freezer. The only fresh tasting item was the warm bread, which flows freely. For the amount that you pay for these dishes, they really shouldn't cut corners the way that they do.

If you like average food then this is the place for you. The views of the Estuary are nice and the wait staff are professional.

Pros: Ample Parking, On the Water, Nice Atmosphere
Cons: Boring Dishes
