Hermosa Beach Car Wash

I took my car to Hermosa Hand Car Wash for a quick wash because I didn't have time to do it myself. One of the guys hopped the wheel rail in the wash-bay and it punctured my fuel tank right in front of a HB police officer who in which had to call the Fire Department because a full tank of gas was all over the parking lot. The manager admitted guilt by offering to take it to " their " mechanic in order to keep their repair costs down but I insisted on taking it to the dealer because it's a brand new car. When I call to tell them the costs for the damage the manager says they aren't liable because the car is lowered slightly ( apparently there's a sign that says so along with about 15 signs about " car wash specials " - meanwhile about 3 cars behind me were lowered not to mention I've gotten my car washed there several times before. They've also put several surface scatches from the guy whipping the vacuum hose across the car. I would highly advise anyone who cares or takes care of their car to NOT use the Hermosa Hand Car Wash - $1200 in damages and $50 for a tank of gas.

I received a pretty good and quick car wash. I know it gets really busy here on Saturday mornings, so I avoid that time, but other than that, the wait is not too long. They do a thorough job and dry your car. The price is fair.

I've been going to HB Car Wash for a few years now. Overall, the service is ok, but there a few dirty spots left on the car and they don't always vacuum the trunk. You can save a buck or two with the coupons on the back of the Vons grocery store receipt, which is nice. The major downside is the closing time on weekdays. They close too early, so I never can make it after work. There is no set closing time, which can be annoying for "planners" like me. Other than that, HB Car Wash is ok.

This car wash has always been very professional and always does a great job whenever I bring my car in. But make sure you're not in a rush to be somewhere because they take their time making sure your car is clean and dry. I purchased the cheapest wash that includes the tire dressing, and the whole carwash start to finish took about 15-20 minutes. Most of the time was spent drying the car, but it really paid off because I did not have any water run trickle down from any crevicies when I left. They especially made the interior look like it was brand new. I am always happy with my experience here.

The Hermosa Beach runs its business in a very unprofessional way. I purchased a full detail for $159. when I returned to pick up my car I noticed it had been damaged, the windshield behind the seat was broken. I confronted the manager with the issue who @ first claimed the car wash would reimburse me. However, when i returned to the carwash with my receipt, the same manager now refused the refund and claimed that they were not liable for any damage. these lies forced me to take HBC to court. the lack of accountability and unprofessional conduct from the manager
are inexcusable for a business especially one in customer service. I will never take my car there again nor recommend it to anyone.

Very good car wash and they do excellent detailing - for a very reasonable price. ALl other surrounding car wash places leave my car partially dirty - this one is always very thorough!

I went to get my car washed and found they were a little slower in getting the car vacuumed and going through the wash, I didn't mind the slower conveyer pushing my car along as it gave the hand car wash guys a longer time to wash my car. I had to stand and direct the guy drying my car after going through the wash, to clean certain areas they had missed. What I liked was that they accept all competitor coupons so I gave them a coupon for $7.95 from another car wash which they took for a wash normally priced at $10.95. They also offer $4.95 exterior only car washes which I think is a great deal allowing one to get a car washed more than 4 times a month if the need arises.

Seemed to be very abrasive cleaning process. Cracked the seal on my headlight, causing condensation. Used to be much better.
