I have known Land Wayland for the last twenty five years. I have seen him handle immigration cases for many individuals throughout the years. I am not an attorney. While an attorney has responsibility over a file, the client (the interested party) has the principal responsibility of getting all documents and facts together for the attorney to work towards resolution of his case. For those individuals seeking an attorney to do it all and charge discount prices, you need to wake up. For those individuals that truly wish to resolve their immigration status and have their case documents and information in order, Land Wayland is the attorney to visit.

Just thought I'd add my two cents in :) Mr. Wayland represented me in 2000 when I filed for a green card and he was the most understanding and wonderful person I could have hoped to have represent me. As far as the final interview is concerned, YOU -the Client- are being interviewed, NOT the attorney. The person in charge of my interview asked a couple of irrelevant questions and Mr. Wayland stepped in and kindly reminded him that it was not pertinent. If I had to do it all over again, I would pick Mr. Wayland for the job.

Regarding the other review, the author did not mention that he had failed to tell Mr. Wayland about a criminal conviction that he had and there was nothing Mr Wayland could say about it when the Immigration Offficer asked about it during the interview. Mr Wayland was not too old or tired to take action but when a client tries to fool the Immigration Service and gets caught, there is not much anyone can say. In 37 years of practice, Mr. Wayland has NEVER had a client (who told the truth) denied a green card. Out of more than 4,000 aliens he has represented, exactly two have been deported and the rest are still in the United States.

The attorney was too old and too tired to fight for my rights in a case of immigration. He did nothing to when I went to the immigration office and meet with the officer in charge of the case. Just sat back and let me do all the talking. I was doing his job. To all client in process or thinking getting him as an attorney think again, he is a horriable attorney.
