Jeffrey's Hamburgers

Jeffrey's is a must for anyone who loves a good hamburger. It's not a very big place, and is always busy. They cook the burgers to order while you wait and they are delicious. The place is very clean and the service is great.

Usually it is packed with people during weekends.
Their double cheeseburger ($7.99) and chilly fries ($2.99) are the best though a little bit costly. The soda is free for refill. Most kids order their skakes. The BLT is plain. It is a very good hamburger restaurant but not easy to find parking since it is located in downtown San Mateo.

PROS: a little bit expensive
CONS: Great burger

we take the CalTrain to the San Mateo stop and have burgers, hotdogs and fries here - very kid friendly. However, we once went there with a group of kids (like 7), and they shoved us into the back patio area and made us feel unwelcome. If they are going to be kid friendly, they should act so.
