There's a saying that quality will be remembered long after price is forgotten. Definitely on the spendy side, but worth every penny. We had an enchanting evening to celebrate my birthday. This is a real charmer, from the captain and staff to the view from the top of the lighthouse. Superb cuisine, excellent service. This is a must do in San Francisco for locals and tourists. I know we'll be back very soon!

I picked this restaurant to check out during the San Francisco Dine About month because I think dining underwater was interesting and I need to see it. The boat ride only took a few minutes, it was raining but that made it more romantic. As we got there we were escorted downstairs to the main dining room which looked great. The bathroom was clean & they even have this bed which I think is for decoration, but then again maybe it??s for the Captain to rest when it??s not busy.

Anyway, I was very impressed with our waitress she kept our wine glasses and water filled. Our three course meal was amazing. I loved their Organic Pan Roasted Salmon, the sauce was great! My boyfriend had the Pan Seared Flat Iron Steak which was also amazing! Last and definitely not least, the dessert, we had Chocolate Mousse was super delicious & the Mixed Berries was great also. When I saw the mixed berries I thought it would be too much berries but it wasn??t at all. Our night went well considering the weather. I told the Captain he had great chefs.

I can??t wait to go back and have some more! There are days when I crave for their food. The food is pricey but so worth it!!!

I read a review in the newspaper about this being a hidden jem. It sounded interesting and it definitely was. You take a boat out to the restaurant and it really looks like you're on a little private island. We sat in a dining part above

Pros: unique - good steak

Cons: if you get sea sick - don't do it!

I've looked up Forbes Island when planning a birthday party for my husband. I found it intriguing that a holw island would be reserved for us for the party. However, I soon found out the prices at the Forbes Island were outrageous and there was also a price to pay to transport people to the island. And so i did not plan a party there because of the costs involved.

I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but to my surprise i'm glad i tried this place out. I must admit the rocking of the waves started to get to me by the time the dessert came but overall it was ok. The food was great!

I was prepared for a ho-hum dinning experience, given the novelty of the setting, but our food was stupendous. The steak was so tasty (better than Boulevard!), and the fish was scrumptious. The flourless chocolate cake, which shows up on
