Fashion Square Car Wash

I couldn't believe when I went to write a bad review that the SAME thing happened to someone else. Furthermore, I just talked to a friend about this and her IPOD was stolen from the same car wash! Why is no one doing anything about this? I called and spoke to the Manager and he told me, verbatim "We are not responsible for anything inside of your car...lady...I dont know what to tell you!" Unreal!!!
I should have stayed with "The Hand" in Studio City. I have been going there for 5 years and have never had a problem.

If your car is actually dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning don't waste your time or money at Fashion Square Car wash. I paid $15.99 for a Wheel Express wash and wheel care service only to find out that they try to use watered down windex as an all purpose cleaner for windows, interiors and your rims. The last time I checked the usage of windex it didnt cover brake dust removal. They also don't consider wiping down the front grill of your car near the head lights and front spoiler as part of their car wash service. When I brought my dissatissfaction to the attention of the joke of a manager Danny I was told that my car must need more than a car wash if I'm not satisfied and that the brake dust removal on my rims is not part of the service. Everyone has a choice to get great service for what they pay for. Please save your time and money and don't patronize this business.

Great price! Wonderful service! Car looked amazing and the carpets were vacuumed! Also it has recently been remodeled and looks new, modern and sleek.

After a $100 detail service and $10 tips, I discovered that my quarters for parking meters were missing,
and also my hydraulic jack and fire extinguisher. The manager refused to compensate me, though I am positive they were there when I went in, and denied that they were responsible.

They have stolen change from my car before, but today.......I did the express wash where you ride in the car as it is being washed. I watched the equipment pull up one of my wiper blades and bend the hell out of it, until it fell off. When it was over, one of the employees handed me my blade.........I asked for the manager. He barely let me explain when he told me that they were not responsible, I had my wipers on during the car wash. It was sunny and 89 degrees today in LA, I did not have my wipers on! I hate this place. I know the owners will not own up to this. After years of going here, I am through. I will never go back again and I will go out of my way to stop anyone else from being subjected to their mis-treatment.

Pros: There are no pros when they wreck your brand new car

They employ thieves. Don't leave your sunglasses or change in the car. The automatic wash with brushes will destroy your paint job. The oil change people are dishonest and will not change your filter. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR CAR OR YOUR RESALE VALUE. Please don't encourage this sleazy, dishonest
business.

Cons: Will destroy your car - slowly and surely. Theives will steal your change.

Had a carwash on Saturday. Money ($15 worth of quarters), cellphone ear piece and sunglass were stolen... Complaint with the manager.. Manager never care. Said he'll call back again after a few minutes.. the day ended and never heard from him...

PEOPLE BEWARE OF THIS CARWASH.... Obviously management doesn't care for their customers, so why give them business...

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!

They have to be strict with the workers they have. They have to fire workers that can destroy their credibility.
I was there Saturday (3-22-08) having car wash. The car isn't that clean enough, Its just having an automatic express wash (like the one at shell stations)...
I have a built-in change holder in my car w/ cover on it...
When i get into my car i saw the cover was open and all my change are gone...
I have at least $10 worth (mostly quarters which i use for parking meters) of change.

Pros: None

Cons: They steal the change from your car! Car is not very well cleaned.

I had been there a couple times for a regular wash and then had a free car wash with oil change. I decided to give them a try for detailing.

As I picked up my car I realized I had left my Gucci sunglasses with cleaning rag in the armrest. I asked the worker where they were. He said,"no sunglasses". so I stared at him and said "Oh really...what about the cleaning rag that was wrapped around the arms of them?" He replied," oh, uh, it blew out." so I answered,"Can I have it back" He replied "OK as he picked it up off the ground"

I always try to take items out but got ripped off. I hope he enjoys my 9 year old sunglasses.

Pros: convenient to work

Cons: The workers steal, long wait

After I get in my car after the car wash, I realized my passenger side leather chair was wet and shocking finding out the passenger side carpet was all saturated with water. I've called the manager, and they said he is the owner, was not being helpful yet very bitchy. All I wanted is to get the problem fixed, which yes, I was upset when I was telling my problem to him, he ending up telling me to GO BACK TO CHINA! where is that comment coming from? They caused water run in my car yet I'm speaking to a Russian owner who is a BIGOT. Never take your car in, they won't take any responsibility on their mistakes. But of all, the owner is a BIG BIGOT and not trying to hear me out and solve the problem. And I am a proud Chinese American.
