I would go to this store if I happened to be on Laurel, but I wouldn't make a special trip. I always seem to miss them because they are closed on Mondays. They have clothes and share facilities with Footsteps Children's Shoes. You can find the boutique items (Petunia PickleBottom diaper bags, for example) and unique baby gifts (cute picture frames, piggy banks), etc.

This is the only "boutique" in the San Carlos area that you can go to for boutique clothing. They do carry some nice brands, but there is really a mish-mosh selection of boutique and pseudo-boutique clothing. For example, Hartstrings and Baby Lulu are great, but then there are other brands that are questionable (Le Top). Other high-end boutique brands are lacking (Little Mass, Beetlejuice, anything European). The shoe selection is nice and fairly standard. You cannot make one combined purchase of the shoes and clothing items, however, since they are separate stores. The attitude of the owner is not always the friendliest. I used to shop here before moving on to other stores with friendlier service. If I'm going to spend $70 on an infant outfit, I'd like a nicer person to deal with. She's not mean, but she's not welcoming. Warmth of service is what keeps customers coming back. The store itself could also use some updating. It just looks messy and discombobulated. It's hard to tell sometimes how long certain stock have been sitting on the shelves or hanging on the racks. The space of the store has tremendous potential and with the growth of San Carlos, it should upscale itself. Improvement of the store layout, a face-lift, a course in personal relationships, and an examination into the consumer would increase the business for this shop tremendously.

ALthough this store has cute boutique clothing...they do not always have the friendliest attitude or service. I am very rarely greeted with a hello when I have stepped into the store. They have a great selection of clothing and gifts but they really need to work on their service and become a more friendly and welcoming establishment.

PROS: Great boutique selection
CONS: Not friendly at all
