They have the worst customer service here.
The store is owned by Koreans and the woman there is the biggest sourpuss I've ever met in my life.
My boyfriend is a regular there so I took my friend for the first time to get her pants altered.
The Korean woman - Sourface - never smiled or said hello. I am also Korean so I spoke to her in Korean thinking I would break the ice. I asked her to "please do a good job because my friend just bought the pants, never wore it, and spent a bit of money on it." She rudely responded by telling me that she isn't going to do the pants.
I was shocked because I didn't think the request was unreasonable and I wasn't rude about it. Actually I was being extra friendly because she was such a sourpuss.
I asked her why and she retorted by saying that I didn't trust her. I asked her how am I suppose to trust her when I haven't had anything altered there before. Her reponse didn't make sense.
Then she said "Give me my pins back". She took the pins out of my friends pants and just walked away leaving my friend and I dumbfounded. We didn't know what just happened. It was a really rude and odd behavior.
I told my boyfriend afterwards and he told me that she is always sour and never smiles. She is a miserable woman.
Well, my friend and I took the pants the pants to another dry cleaners and I said the same thing "Please do a good job..." and they said "of course". They gave me the reassurance I was seeking and they did an excellent job.
I told all my friends and my boyfriend and we don't do business with NU_LIFE cleaners anymore.
There is no need for RUDEness. And the SOURFACE needs another outlet for her miserable life and not take it out on her customers.

...suits them.
I went to them for a while even though I found them kinda stern & unfriendly - because of convenience and they were doing a good job. Anyway, I noticed that the prices were kinda funny. Like they would tell me it would be one price, and I ended up paying a higher one. So, I asked them to total the items before the service was done once and I wrote it down. And sure enough, the price got fluffed. When I confronted them about this, the woman said she did not understand my English earlier :). Then, when I got home, the clothes were dirty. Time to move on!

I find it very difficult to find a cleaners where they do an excellent job cleaning my clothes, are pleasant, close to my home. I was very pleased to notice Nu Life Cleaners on the way home from work.

They use products that are hypoallergenic and non-toxic, so that gives me peace of mind as I have rather sensitive skin. I also work for an oncologist, so am cognizant of products that can be cancer-causing.

They are very pleasant to work with, they've even gone and purchased zippers for me when I wasn't sure exactly what was needed.

They've done my cleaning, excellent alterations and replaced zippers and buttons for me. Yes, I can sew on buttons, but they don't seem to stay on long, so I'd rather have them done by a professional.

Additionally, I've brought in shoes for repair. They don't do it there, but send them out for repair. I'd much rather go to one place to pick up my things than have to make two trips.

I highly recommend this cleaners. The parking is usually very easy in their lot also, and prices are reasonable.

PROS: Great job, healthy cleaning products, easy parking, reasonable prices
CONS: None
