Good place. The coolness of the decoration of really a good thing, that keeps me going back in here, a lot of amazing people and a very cool lounge like outside.

This yogurt store knowingly posts incorrect, deceitful information regarding nutrition facts for their sugar free yogurt. While they post that their sugar-free flavors are 40 calories per 4 oz serving this is false. After being told by an employee that their sugar free flavor was yo cream brand I was shocked to find that the sugar free flavors that I have been specifically picking for their low caloric content for the past year are in actuality 80 calories per 4 oz serving... YES double what the posted content should have been. This franchise is lying to it's faithful customers in order to gain your business which in my opinion is disgusting. Do not eat here. Eat at any other location legitimately telling you the correct information. Anyone battling with their weight or managing their intake, I empathize with you as we fight against establishments like this who are willing to lie and cheat to their customers to gain the upper hand. After my daily ventures to Yogurt Express over the past year I will not be going there any more..

This is cheap frozen yogurt close to SDSU! You get charged by weight which makes a good deal. You can choose from many different flavors and toppings. I really liked it.

One of the cheapest and delicious places for frozen yogurt. Not too far away from SDSU too! They only offer about 8 flavors each day but they switch daily with a few flavors as their regulars.

I guess I can agree that the service isnt the best. The employees are sometimes on the phone or generally unprofessional. BUT the yogurt is amazing. Its self serve you can chose anything you want or sample each flavor 100 times. Students get 25% off, so when usually it comes to be under $2.00.

'That yogurt place' is our family name for Yogurt Express. We go pretty often and I recommend you give it a try. The parking lot has only about 10 spaces with each about 12 inches too narrow. Two excellent parking spots are behind near the dumpster.

The self serve yogurt machines are on the back wall with three sizes of styrofoam cups on the wall to the right. Price at checkout is determined by the weight of your cup. You don't need permission to get started. Walk right on back to the cup dispenser, pull one out and start making your own yogurt.

The machines dispense about eight flavors, some fat free, with labels showing flavors. You are free to fill the cup with any or all flavors, mix & blend to your hearts content. Fill it about half full then pack the yogurt by holding it about two inches above the counter and dropping the cup on it's bottom. Repeat a couple of times. This technique allows the yogurt to settle into the cup.

About 20 toppings are available for self serve on the right of the store. Pick one or more to sprinkle or go back and forth between the yogurt and toppings during the fill process to get a fully mixed blend.

Now go to the register and put a clear plastic dome top onto the cup. Place the cup on the scale. If you are a repeat customer show the man behind the counter your Yogurt Express 20% off card and give him your "buy 10, get one free" to mark. If you don't have these cards and they don't offer them you should ask. Pay the man.

There are a couple of tables and chairs both inside and out front. Enjoy.

Pros: Local favorite with families and San Diego State University students.

Cons: None

"USED to be" is the key phrase here. I've been a regular at Yogurt Express for years, but the service has really gone down hill in the past year. This is a self-serve yogurt shop, but there are new employees now and they act like THEY'RE doing ME a favor by taking my money! It's self-serve for crying out loud...you're not even serving me. And I'm rarely greeted with a smile anymore. The yogurt is still great, but if you're looking to go where you're appreciated as a customer, sadly this is no longer the place to go.

PROS: good yogurt
CONS: rude/grumpy employees, crowded at busy times and only ONE cash register
