Friday night before giants game bar is packed inside and out there is a place at the end of bar for the servers to order drinks I did not know that at the time. I was told to keep area clear and to move to the side which I did except for my left arm and handbag so I was told and grabbed by the bouncer to move out of the way a second time. A couple sitting at the bar called me a idiot as I waited for my drinks.During that wait the lady at the bar turned to me yelled and pointed her finger at me said that obviously I have never ran a restaurant. Other things were said. When my 1st and only drink was up I decided I didnt want to have anymore drinks so I closed my ticket. After I signed thats when the bouncer (which was behind me the whole time) told me to act like an adult and to grow up. Where was he when I was getting verbally attacked by other patrons. 5 mins later there was a guy standing in the section where I was asked to move not being told to move, when my husband went over there and made a comment to him he went and stood by the bouncer and shared some laughs. I have some other issues and concerns on why I was treated the way I was and it falls under discrimination of my age, gender and color. I plan on not going back. San Francisco has pleanty of other places to grab drinks before a ball game.

These guys got 1 star because that's as low as I can go on here. The service is never consistent. My wife and I got their at 5:45 and sat outside next to a group of people. The place wasn't even that busy. The server ignored us for almost 20 minutes. We went to the bar to order a drink and were ignored their as well. The only service we got was a bus boy who cleared our table but never wiped the table off. Will never go back.

MoMo's is a staple for baseball season. The outdoor patio bar is the perfect place for drinks before and after Giants games. If you're not a sun worshiper there is a bar inside as well. It's easy to get carried away with the fun crowd at MoMo's and miss the first couple innings of a game. Luckily the stadium entrance is literally across the intersection. If you can hold off getting a hot dog and garlic fries at the game MoMo's has some great menu options. The Prosciutto and Fontina Pizza is always a good choice.

Whether you plan to attend a game or event at AT&T park you should stop here for drinks to watch the game or hang out. My boyfriend and I went before a game and had lunch which was really good. We got salmon and steak and it was really tender and delicious. There were a lot of people outside but it was a fun atmosphere. They are a little pricey but it is worth the experience.

Been to Momo's many times, GREAT place to go before the game. They have outdoor seating too, which I am a big fan of when the sun is out. Food and service are good too

MoMo's has a great location and a great menu filled with a variety of American/California type of food! It's a bit pricey, but the food is well created and made to perfection. The service was very nice. We had a great meal there!

What can I say???? New to the neighborhood and was hungry for some comfort food. I asked a couple of friends to join me for dinner and they said the place is usually a Zoo during the games. There were about 15 tables in the restaurant and the general manager was at the door. We were taken to this nice and darkly lit dining room and he gave us table choices.Whatever happened to sit here or leave?-LOL. We sat by the window with the view of the ball park and King street. Onion strings were outstanding. I think we actually fought over the last pieces. The meatloaf was very good(I said I was looking for comfort food). and the chocolate cookies with the mint ice cream?? were the right stuff. Comfort food??? I know where to go now!!!

Went here for brunch...seemed like it could be good...but it wasnt. All three of us were very unimpressed with our meals, french toast, salmon flat bread and eggs and eggs florentine. And the waitress seemed to take her sweet time with taking orders and bringing items....maybe I should have ordered something else.

I made an early reservation at 5:30 PM Friday night. I asked for a quiet table so that my companion and I could enjoy some good conversation. The greeter ignored my request (even though the place was reasonably slow) and put us two tables away from a large group.

The wait staff was rude and snooty. Our waiter appeared at our table, did not introduce himself and did not even speak. He looked down at us silently. I decided to speak up and ask for some iced tea to which he responded in a complaining voice, "You're not having wine?" I replied no and he turned on his heels and left.

The iced tea was delivered quickly and I decided to order, not waiting for him to ask since it appeared he expected me to go first.

I ordered the Filet Minion and my date ordered the roast beef. I also ordered the Split Pea Soup. The soup was superb, but served tepid, rather than hot. Both main courses arrived quickly and were good, hot and delicious. The Yankee Roast was a fine cut of meat, tender and flavor-full. The dish came with mashed potato and gravy. Unfortunately, the chef took the easy way out on the gravy and used a tomato base that was a bit disappointing. The Filet Minon was ordered medium and served a little closer to medium-rare but man it was a great cut of meat and was superb. The Filet Minion was served with Spinach and Potatoes au gratin. Both were excellent. We opted for sweet treats at home and asked for the bill.

The ambiance was good, and location great. The food was overall very good. I have to admit that in 30 years, I haven't encountered anything quite as unusual as the MoMos' wait staff. It's as if they simply didn't care one bit that we were there. With a price tag of $67 for dinner with no wine or dessert, you'd at least expect a smile? Perhaps the fact that we're non-drinkers put the staff off.

Either way, we'll probably visit again to sample something else on the deep menu. But we might go for lunch next time, and hope to get a different waiter.

I had a great date night at Momo's. The waitstaff was extremely attentive and the food was amazing. I had A1 Crusted Meatloaf that was (gasp) better than my mother's. My date's dish came with incredible garlic mashed potatoes and I have to say I think I ate more of them than he did. Overall a great experience and a great atmosphere, but be warned that the bar area seems to get very crowded and loud right before Giants games. If you're looking for a nice place to take a date in the off-season, or want to class up your tailgate and sit down to a great meal before a game, Momo's is definitely the place.

Had a wonderful time here for dinner with friends. The atmosphere is elegant, but fairly casual. Plenty of room for large parties in big booths that seem to seat 7 or two private to semi-private rooms. There are also a row of 2 seater banquettes perfect for a little face to face with your sweetie. The hostess was welcoming and our server helped make the experience delightful with excellent recommendations and a thorough knowledge of wines and specials, very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive.

Great selection of salads and sandwiches at lunch (which I?ve had before), but their entrees really stand out. The potroast seemed like it had been slow cooked for hours and had a great homemade flavor. The Gumbo, while not quite authentic, was full of fresh tasting seafood and sausage. We also tried the 16oz Ribeye with an AMAZING twice baked potato umm umm umm and the Sea Scallops with asparagus risotto that was cooked to perfection. Dessert consisted of an OH MY GOD pumpkin pie, sinful chocolate torte and warm cookies. All the comforts of home with extra pizzazz and quality served in a way that, overall, makes you feel decadent and satisfied.

The separate bar area has quite a different tempo and is conducive to sports enthusiasts and cocktailers alike. I can see why this place is so popular during baseball season. Despite it?s proximity to the park, it really is a great hang out spot. Going back tomorrow for happy hour! (Mon-Fri 4pm-7pm)

Nice environment! Good drinks and good value. Went after a Giants game, the bar was very busy but just added another element to the scene. Nice outdoor area, with a limited bar and everything else that you could want is served inside. Fun place to go after a game, right across the street from SBC Park.

Great pre or post-Giants game place for lunch, dinner or drinks. Can't beat its location across from AT&T park an close to the water. The outdoor patio is great when the weather cooperates, and you can expect it to be packed on gamedays. Yummy up-scale American food, but service can be slow when it's busy.

My experience at Momo's was fun. However, this place can get very busy on a Friday night, especially after a ball game and so the service can be sloooooow. Be sure to make reservations. The food was good; there's a good variety and the portions are very fair, but still a little too pricey for good/average food. Parking is pretty tough, but you can usually park a bit farther and walk.

I went here recently with my coworkers for dinner. It wasn't bad at all and everyone enjoyed their dinner. I wanted a light dinner so shared a tasty but pricey calamari and ordered the mango salad and carpacio for my meal. The mango salad was tasty and carpaccio was average. The entree items actually didn't appeal to me b/c they seem way too heavy and seem pricey for something like meatloaf or pork chop. I expected the ambience to be more bar restaurant like. But it turned out to be more business casual dining. If I were you, I would go to other places first. Oh, our server was extremely slow...

On an empty Saturday afternoon, my boyfriend ordered a burger and beer and I a Greek salad and ice tea. His burger was an fine but I was SHOCKED by the size of my salad which was literally less than a cup of salad with three small slices of pita (I saw at another table that the chicken-apple salad was a good size). I felt jipped, hungry and disappointed that the waitress didn't inform me of the size. I go out to eat a lot and I've never seen such a small salad. In addition, we spent most of the meal trying to track someone down for ketchup, and our bill pretip was $30.

The only plus I have is that the small portion I did eat was tasty, but I would never go back. Such a rip off!

Went with my girlfriend on Valentine's weekend. For starters, we orderd the Dungeness Crab cake and Baked oysters which were both tasty. Mahi Mahi Entree was a little dry but the Veal was tender. Chocolate Brioche Banana Bread Pudding was good but the Apple Raisin Crisp w/ vanilla ice-cream was too sweet for my taste buds. The waitress did check on us a few times and the bus-boy were very efficient at removing empty plates and adding water. Not sure how crazy the place gets on game days but there were ample street parking on the Sat nite we went. Tab came out to be $140 (with tips) for two. We had a good time there.

I had the most otherwordly dining experience tonight! I ordered the iceberg salad to start and it was wonderful! We also ordered the polenta, calamari, and flatbread appetizers. My entree, the Veal Chop was breathtaking. It looked as great as it tasted! For dessert we shared the creme brulee, strawberry pineapple sorbet, and cookies. The cookies were warm and delicious, the brulee was flawless, and the sorbet had great flavor. On top of all of this, the service was impeccable!!! After dinner, we went over to the bar and had some drinks. The bar is a great social scene and happy hour is pretty cool from what I hear. So if you want to enjoy a great evening out, run, don't walk, to Momo's!

Stopped in for a quiet lunch (no ballgame) inside, the dining room is quite large, understated but stylish. Started of with a portabello/cheese polenta appetizer, decent. Then moved on to a large chicken potpie, topped with a flaky, buttery crust, tasty! We passed on dessert, the tab came out to about $70 with two drinks a piece. Service was personable and very good. A nice spot for a bite to eat near the ballpark when you don't have any other choices...

I was suprised to find a wait on a Thursday for lunch when there was no ballgame across the street. The atmosphere is great for a date, though I found lunch a little on the pricey side (80 dollars for two). We had reasonable service and the food was modestly presented and fresh. The best aspect of the resturant by far is the atmosphere - its quite social and hip.

Dinner 5/10/03

Our server consistently brought drinks only after we asked three times with a minimum 30 minute wait, and then brought the wrong drink. She even brought my boyfriend's beer AFTER the meal was over and the plates cleared!

So, we gave her a 15% tip. She brought it back to us and told us our math was wrong. We counted it and left it on the table.

We left and, would you believe, she came after us? We went through the bill and cash with her outside. She responded, "oh, I didn't realize you gave me a $40 tip," and stomped back into the restaurant.

If you're looking for restaurant with the kind of service Momo's used to have - you'd best look elsewhere. On the other hand if you'd like a bad attitude served with your meal instead of a drink, you'll be perfectly happy with Momo's.

I have eaten at MOMO's several times. More for the outdoor seating than any other reason. My boyfriend and I sat for 45 minutes or more before finally getting our food. By that time my boyfriend's eggs looked as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for 20 min. When my BF went to complain to the manager he was defensive and not helpful-rather he offered inane excuses. We ultimately got up and left after an extremely unprofessional confrontation with the general manager. I will never return to this place.

I went here for brunch and left kind of hungry. My food (french toast stuffed with bananas) was fine, i just wish it had been twice the size. Our server was very polite, but, the crowd (SF giants fans, Marina folks) didn't impress me too much. Next time, I'll get a regular entree.

I have dined at Momo's several times...with lovers, friends and family members, I have always found it most enjoyable, the wait staff is fairly attentive and will always try to accomodate a request for something that is not necessarily on the menu...the desserts are so-so, they used to have some very good ones but did away with them for unknown reasons...the bartenders are really cute and nice! My fav is the Braised short ribs with a side of sauteed spinach...yum! Even though reservations are recommended I have always been seated almost immediately..thats a plus!
