This place is set in a very nice area of Point Richmond. Its an area that feels like a quiet little town, which it is. The restaurant has a great menu and bar selection. Its some where you can go all dressed up for dinner or semi casual as well. I've always had a great experience at Hotel Mac.

I stayed here from May 15-21 and was very impressed with the hotel. When I first got there my room wasn't ready yet since I was early so they held my bags and called me a cab and I went out sightseeing. When I came back my room still wasn't ready so I was upgraded to room with a king-sized bed at no extra charge. You can't beat that!

All 140 guest rooms and suites are individually decorated by such notables as Anthony Hail, interior designer to the stars, and Lee Radziwill, sister of the late Jackie Onassis, who once used rooms here as residential apartments. Most rooms and suites have wet bars, and some suites have kitchens. All rooms feature high-speed DSL lines, two-line phones, data ports and fax machines. Some rooms feature panoramic views of the city and the bay.

PROS: rooms
CONS: none
