Chevys Fresh Mex

We walked in and the lady behind the counter walked away instead of helping us. So after we waited a couple of minutes someone finally came and sat us down. After we sat down no one came to help us. Then our server came dropped off the chips and salsa and just left. Didn't ask us if we wanted anything to drink, didn't ask how we are doing. Then we had to wait again before the server came back to ask us what we wanted to drink, but we weren't stupid we ordered too because we didn't want to have to wait again. But, we did have to wait to get our drinks. 1 raspberry ice tea and two waters. the only time we didn't have to wait was to get our food. The food came timely. But it was DISGUSTING. it was my first time to this Chevy's, but I've been to 3-4 other Chevy's a bunch of times. We ordered the same plate we always order and we knew right when we got it, things weren't right. I don't know what they did to our food, but the food was disgusting and my girlfriend got an allergic reaction. We stopped eating immediately, paid and left. We will never return.

i love chevys so much! this location seems to be less crowded then the one at stonestown. i love their fajitas i get them everytime. THEY HAVE THE BEST EVER CHIPS, SALSA AND FRESH TORTILLAS!!!

While it might not be the greatest, you always know what you're going to get. The food is good, margaritas even better!! I'm full after the chips and salsa anyway

Good Mexican food. They have the BEST chips and salsa here. Look out for the margarita's. They are GIGANTIC and very full of alcohol! The fajitas are tasty and I've enjoyed everything I've eaten there.

PROS: Great for birthdays. Always gets you full.

The margaritas are the best love this Chevy's the service is great very fast and the food is good. . Parking is easy . Lot's of worker's the wait for you food is not long at all.

This is an excellant place to call in for mexican food take out. They are fast and they have nevet messed up on my take out orcers or left anything out. I would highly recommend for your fast mexican food fix.

I really like Chevy's. they have good service, the food is good, and the workers there are very nice and respectful. i recommend that you go there for birthdays and special occasions or just when ever you get hungry

This is a great resturant it has great service,they're very prompt, and the resturant is very clean. They have a big selection of mixed drinks as well.

I love Chevys, the food is always fresh and the service is quick. I love the spicy chicken and cheese flautas they are my favorite. Thursday is a good night if you have small kids.

I recently had a double celebration at this Chevy's location. My guest ages ranged from 8 to 88. They accomodated us in a comfortable room where the kids can talk and laugh without disturbing any of the other guest and the variety of food on the menu was wonderful because everyone was able to find something that they liked without breaking my pocket. We had 2 servers that catered to our every need with a smile. The sampler platter of nachos - potato skins and chicken fingers are to die for. You can eat this as your meal and be satisfied. Family atmosphere in the dining area. Fun and loud with the latest sports on the big screen tv in the bar!!

PROS: Great food selections and reasonable prices
CONS: Parking is hard to find. Must get there early or wait a while for table

This Chevy's is in a standalone structure on one side of a small strip mall's parking lot; the lot seemed fairly empty when I went (admittedly on a Monday night, perhaps not the busiest of nights for the restaurant), so parking was easy and plentiful. The restaurant seemed to have plenty of tables, although most of the indoor booths were taken, we sat at the bar, and there were lots of those high bar tables and stools available.

We were served quickly and our waiter/bartender came by to check on us frequently -- which was actually a bit surprising, since we sat at the end of the bar beyond the flip-up bar section, so we were a bit secluded, and nobody else was around us. So I was very impressed that we weren't forgotten.

The food was tasty, and well presented; it wasn't outstanding or "authentic", because Chevy's is a chain restaurant, but it was done well. I've been other Chevy's where I've gotten burritos still cold inside, or where the plates looked barren when they arrived. But here my burrito was huge, and all the sides covered the plate completely. An absolutely huge platter, and even my gluttonous stomach couldn't deal with eating all of it... All in all, thumbs up, I may have to go again sometime.

PROS: Good parking, sizable portions, attentive staff
CONS: Food is tasty but not very remarkable.
