This is the worse salon to go to get your nails or your feet done. They have the worse customer service ever. They have been thru at least two different owners since the original owner, Diane, sold it. They then brought in their own nail technicians and pushed out all the good ones. Jacob was the best technician they had and they forced him out. After that, they lost all of their regular customers. If you want to have your nails done and have them last for more then two weeks and for a great price go to Vivia's Salon in the Food's Co shopping center at Bruceville and Calvin. Ask for Jacob. You won't regret it. How do I know? I started getting my nails done by Jacob since he worked at Savvy Salon when Diane owned it 6 years ago. I followed him to Vivia's. Also, they double dip the sticks into the wax. So if you want to get your eyebrows waxed, you may be getting what the person before you had when they got a bikini wax. They do not use a different stick each time they dip into the wax which is required by code. Now that is just nasty and unsanitary if you ask me.

First of all. I dont understand why though when i first walk into Savvy Salon and ask for Kim or Macy they told me they either went back to school or moved out of the area. That was very disappointing since i dont trust people with my hair. So while my visit with Kim she had let me know that Macy is still doing hair as well and she not far away (so ill go ahead and say it and i hope she dont get mad) she at Vivias on Calvine and Bruceville! I dont usually write reviews but i was just happy to find my 2 favorite stylist still in the area (because it is very hard to find some one that you trust and know what there doing) so that why iam writing this review.

So iam one of them gal that get their hair done maybe every 5-6 months. I was so disappointed walking in to Savvy Salon to find that they had all new staff with no familiar faces that i have already seen before. I usually see Kim N. or Macy but both were no where to be found so i end up not getting my hair done at all. Shopping one day at Arden i ran into Kim and was happy to found out she is still doing hair!!!! So i got her number and and made an appointment with her. Roughly 2 weeks later I came out of the salon and my hair looks FANTASTIC with a new summer color and cut!!!! She so understanding and patient especially that i have thick long curly hair I had other stylist cut my hair before but always felt they rush threw it and when i go home and flat iron my hair it always so choppy looking. So if your looking for a new summer look i recommend you seeing Kim N. at i believe the salon is called La Beauty or L.A. Beauty Salon on Sheldon in WinCo shopping Center!

This is the first time i have been to this salon since it is close to my house and was passing by to get some Starbuck and decided to get a fresh new look for the new year 2009.

The salon was really impress me with it cleanliness and the interior design. The stylists were a mix of White and Asian. The manicurists as usual were Asian. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

I only write this review because I have so much compliment on my hair and nails in the past 2 weeks and I just want to share with everyone about Savvy Salon.

What impress me most is their cleanliness with each spa pedicure chair after each client...they clean and use uv ray sanitizing method like in the hospital on all their untensils.

Check them out for yourself and write your own review...

WARNING! Do not come to this salon for any service. This salon is really negligent on sanitation. They reuse the paraffin wax that they put on your feet amongst other porous items such as; buffers and pumice bars. Pumice bars are used for the soles of your feet, and when it is new; it should be individually packaged. A few customers were known to have fungus after receiving service from this salon. If I were able to give a rating of no stars, I would, but unfortunately, I can't. You are probably wondering how I know all of this....I use to work there, so take my word for it.

I have been to this place many times and usually they were ok. Not the best after thier owners left. I went in to get my eyebrows waxed and it was 12 dollars. I did not tip that day because the women I had made some rude comments. I checked my bank statement later that day and it said 15. They had overcharged me 3 dollars. My friend that went with me to get her haircut at the same time checked hers as well and found she was overcharged 8 dollars. Im sorry they are not worth the hassle.

I went to this salon because they could get me in on a Sunday and I really needed a color and cut. The styalist was young but had a cute hair syle herself and talked like she knew what she was doing. I've been getting my hair colored the same way for years and told her exactly what I wanted which was lo and high lights and wanted absolutely no brass color in my hair. She ended up using the wrong developer and my hair only lifed half way which left me with a head full of copper/brass hair. The hair cut was horrible. It was uneven and had no style to it all. Then proceded to take an hour blowdrying my hair flat as a board. After being in the chair for four hours, I left. I had to come if for two additional appointment to have my hair fixed by another styalist who gave me a good cut, but unfortunately had no knowledge of color and I still ended up with brassy red/brown hair. By that time, my hair was so damaged that all I could do was let it be. I would never go back there again. Plus, they hardly speak English.
