I ended up going to see Dr. Berman when I had just had a bad experience with another doctor, and needed a follow up. He was really easy to talk to, explained things in a way that made sense, put me at ease, and had some great suggestions on how to care for my skin. I have since referred all of my co-workers and family to him for all of their skin care needs.

I had a lot of questions all written down before my visit. The doc took about 40 minutes listening to my concerns. Had seen 1 other doc before, and was not impressed. However, in regards to skin and cosmetic issues, Dr. Berman is probably one of the few doctors that have the experience with both. Even my daughter was seen by him. She is 8 and is as shy as any other 8 year old girl. He really knows how to take the time and do his job the right way. I was referred by an office worker who heard only good things about him. He treated both me and my daughter with great outcomes. My daughter had a mole removed from her left forehead. He did what is called a "staged" excision, and I really cant see any scar. I had a more complex cosmetic procedure with the results I was hoping for.

If you notice all these positive reviews listed below the users only have ONE review written for the entire website. If you look at any other web stie that rates places, yelp, city search, ratemd.com, this guy has a million bad reviews. He is a horrible doctor, and incompetent. On top of it all, he has a horrible attitude due to SMALL MANS SYNDROME. He yelled at his staff in front of me and when I asked him if he was having a bad day he continued to state that his staff put him in bad mood. Other doctors laugh at him for all his marketing tributes to dupe people. Stay away, warn your friends and family!

Two of my friends recommended Dr. Berman for tattoo removal. I went in to see him and he spent about 30 minutes with me, discussing my options to remove a tattoo from my arm. Because the tattoo was dark black, he said it would actually respond quickly to the laser. Indeed after just one session I'd say that 70% of the black is gone. He really knows lasers and I would recommend him to anyone for tattoo removal. In fact, I suggested to a friends mom that she see him for another problem, and she too was impressed with how caring he is with his patients. *****great doc!

I have been a patient of Dr. Berman's for over 3 years. I live in SF but make the drive to see him because he is an awesome doc. He has a friendly staff and a nice office. I would highly recommend this doctor to everyone.
