1 Stars: Rude Service (by h h.)

"From the hostesses, to the server, to the manager/owner...this was not our experience at all. I work at a restaurant and am very understanding when things go wrong, but the way we were treated tonight was rude and absolutely unacceptable.

We waited out in the cold on the patio for twenty minutes (not an exaggeration) and asked for a server twice before anyone took our drink orders. It was not all that busy either, and people were being seated after us inside getting chips and drinks already. We were not given discounts we were told we would receive and were disputed with when we asked why the adjustments had not been made on our check. To top it all off, the manager was very rude and unaccommodating. I have never been spoken to so patronizingly and arrogantly in my life.

Do NOT eat here unless you want the worst service you've ever received in exchange for bland food."

4 Stars: Margarita Mondays (by Jenny G.)

This restaurant is great for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. Each day of the week they actually have specials. Check them out on Monday and they have specials on margaritas. Tuesday is specials on Tacos. Wednesday is all about the beer. Thursdays your kids eat free as long as you order a meal. Sundays are specials on Coronas. The food is great and the specials help you keep your eating out affordable depending on your mood.

4 Stars: TACO TUESDAY ROCKS! (by Gigi M.)

My friends and I love Caritas Taco Tuesdays! Look for us out on the patio in the summer or in the corner booth in the winter (we're the one's having all the fun!). The only place I know that you can get two tacos and a beer for under $10.00 including your share of the tip!

3 Stars: Reasonably priced Mexican food (by Michelle B.)

Carnitas has good prices, but their food is a little bland. I ordered a combination that included a taco, enchilada, rice and beans. While the meal was under $10, I felt like I had to dump salsa on everything to give it a little flavor.

3 Stars: (by Douglas H.)

Salsitas is a corner Mexican restaurant near the Birch Street Promenade in Brea. The full-panel glass windows and neon lights attracted us in- very cool environment atypical of Mexican joints. The menu was fairly boring- aside from some egg dishes, there wasn't much that was new or special. I was disappointed in my fajita salad- it was mostly iceburg lettuce and green bell peppers. My companions did think the fajitas were pretty good, but not remarkable. They do make their own flour and corn tortillas, which were tasty. The dessert were fair but again, nothing remarkable. 3 stars- if you are hungry after the movie, come on over, but don't make plans around this place.
