Spent a great weekend in Joshua Tree to celebrate a friend's 40th. The Inn has something like 10+ adobes (basically private cabins) a pool with bar and restaurants. On prior visit we stayed in the town of Joshua Tree this was better. The place is very rustic and basic, but all you need. Restaurant is very yummy excellent food i had a cobb salad i was surprised how good it was. staff was super kind and friendly. we stayed in tidy tips adobe, our friend was in irene's adobe which is super cool much larger too. our dog was in 7th heaven since there are open fields around and we let him run around. park entrance is right next door. pretty cool. we'll definately be back!

Pros: Cool ambiance & dog friendly!

Cons: Very basic and not refreshed for a while

Honestly, the desert dosen't have much to offer, but this place was nice. Everyone was so welcoming into the resturant. The food was great. The Location was difficult to find at first if you're new to the area.

A little off the beaten path, but so worth it. Wonderful Restaurant/Inn with excellent food. Dine indoors or outside by the pool. Enjoy wonderful entertainment on certain nights. You may even spot a famous face....it's known for drawing actors, models and artists from all over the world.

I was a little disappointed by my experience at this Inn after the excellent spoken reviews I received by locals. I guess several movie stars of old used to stay here on there way out to the desert. I can't quite share the appeal. Yes, several of theguest rooms are decorated in a cute manner and the decor is unique to each room. There is more privacy in this type of outfit as the room are geographically separate- its more like little separate cabins. The rooms are simple but some have cute fireplaces - ours had a TV set but no bathtub. I did appreciate the peace and tranquil quiet out here; it gave us a good chance to appreciate the clear night sky. I also liked the little library with local info and free internet. Unfortunately, service is not too quick or efficient and the owners are definitely "country folk" for better or worse. The area is very poorly lit, making safety an issue. Breakfast was not served until 7:40 AM and was only weak coffee and bread.
