Ocean Avenue Svc

Somebody installed a starter in my car. Then the starter went faulty within 2 days. Then I called that guy up, but he said he's busy and won't have time to fix the starter for me right away. So I took my car to Ocean Ave 76. Gina told me lies after lies. First she said my solenoid is broken. OK, replace it. Then she said starter is also broken.

But don't the solenoid come with the starter? I immediately told them that the starter is brand new because my friend just installed it for me a few days ago. Then my friend took the starter back and tested it. It's perfectly OK. No problem.

Gina tried to rip me off.

Another time I had her replaced my radiator. She then also said my water pump is leaking. I didn't believe her. So I didn't fix the water pump. Then I discovered that they didn't add enough water into my radiator so that my car would over-heat, thinking I would drive back to them immediately and spend more money. Then one of my spark plug fell out while I was driving. They are messing with my car. They endanger customer's lives. Then a year later my water pump did leak and I had it fixed somewhere else. The mechanic discovered that somebody drilled a hole in my water pump, which caused the leak.

My old mechanic replaced my clutch slave cylinders in my sports car and said the clutch was going.
The car used to spin in 5th gear, finally one night it really revved up on the freeway in 5th -- I managed to drive it home.
I called around and Gina quoted me the best price to replace the clutch.
She told me the car wouldn't idle and suggested cleaning the idle setting. Then they took it for a test drive and said it was fine, that I should come and drive it.
I did and sure enough it was not the clutch, my old mechanic had misdiagnosed a vacuum leak that was affecting the shifting and clutch!
I drive an MR2 and to replace a clutch in a small mid-enging sports car is not cheap.
Gina saved me hundreds of dollars and I am never taking my car anywhere else.

I took the car to Ocean Ave 76 because my neighbor recommended the shop. I was so disappointed with Ocean Ave 76. My brake petal was low. I asked the shop to check it out. Gina said she would look at it and give me a call. She quoted nearly 600 to replace the brakes. When I picked up the car. The brake petal was in the same place and the emergency brake did not hold.
I took the car back and got into an argument with her. She could not understand why I was upset. I made a complaint with the state of California.
I spent nearly 600 dollars on a repair that did not fix my original complaint.

A week and a half later the emergency brake cable broke. I went to another garage to have it fixed. It cost me a lot of money to have my car "repaired there". Please do not use this Garage!

Ocean Avenue 76 has good mechanics to repair or replace any parts of your vehichle. I come here when it's convenient to get my oil changed. I am fortunate that I have had to use any other serviced.

I use to always laugh when I see the commercial for this place. I won't be laughing anymore. I used their service when my vehicle would not start when I was at Mickeydee's. They came to where my car was because I could not get to them. The mechanic got my vehicle started and drove it to the station and put in a new alternator the following day. Now that's excellent service.

I came in here for repairs not by first choice by because my car broke down just down the street. The mechanics diagnosed it and ordered my parts then fixed it in 3 days. The repair was of great quality and guaranteed for as long as I owned my vehicle. Great fast service and the price was reasonable.

I was driving on Ocean Ave when I suddenly got a flat tire. I never had this happen to me before. I pulled over to 76 and the staff was so helpful. I had my tire replaced and I was driving again in less that 30 minutes. I will come here again. Not only is it close to my home, but the people are so easy to work with too.

We hear about them on TV, but people it's true they're good. My friend took her car over there and the staff was friendly, they explained what they did to the car and fixed it and now it's perfect. We didn't have to go back to the shop to get it fix for a second time, like we usually have to when we take it to another car shop. They're great.
