Roscoe's House Of Chicken

I took a friend out to LA for her birthday and she wanted to try a place that she heard about: Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. We checked into our hotel and that was the first place on her list. Needless to say, we were there for lunch and dinner every day of our trip!!!! The food is AWESOME! Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles - please come to the EAST COAST, SPECIFICALLY FLORIDA!!!!

I love Roscoes chicken and waffles.

If you dont mind the wait, its well worth it. Best idea is to get there when they first open at 8 am as you can usually get in and served in a reasonable time.

The prices are fantastic. I always get the Jeanne Jones special, the omelete is also excellent along with the chicken salad.

Wash it down with a sunrise and its all good!

May seem like a strange name, but its famous and there is a reason for it. Real fried chicken that is far from you KFC or churches. I don't know what they do to make the waffles so good, or maybe its just the atmosphere, but I enjoyed the entire experience. Price is just as good as the food.

Fried chicken doesn't get anybetter - unless your southern grandma is cooking it in her own kitchen and you have a seat at her dining table... this is THE best and most authentic Sounthern Fried Chicken you can get - this far west... and the waffles - forget about it - oh so good - if you've never had the combo - you must try - plus you can order catering size portions and take out - this is a fabulous option for your next sports viewing party... football season?

Sometimes when I see those KFC commercials, I start to laugh. "They call that chicken." It's not right. When you want some fried chicken done the right way, you need to head on over to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. The one in Hollywood is so small and crowded, so I like to goto the one in LA. Not much better but a more relaxed atmosphere, more real. Whatever location you choose to visit, you will get real southern food, fried and extra greasy.

PROS: This food will leave your mouth thirsting for more!
CONS: The crowded room almost takes your mind off of the heart attack coming up.
