This places is super good, the food is great and the ingredients alway seem to be pretty fresh. They have a large selection of coffees and teas. Overall, great place to go after surfing.

I try to make it out there as often as possible. Their menu items are healthy, yet they don't compromise good taste. Swamis Cafe adds to the coastal surfer feel that Encinitas already offers. Its best to go on a sunny day!

Mole Enchiladas. That's all I gotta say. Make sure after stuffing yourself you take a stroll across the 101 to the Self Realization Fellowship garden. It has koi ponds and amazing plants, all overlooking the Swamis point break - possibly the best surf spot in Southern California.

A popular breakfast and lunch spot in Encinitas. A bit on the "granola" side, but excellent food. However, it is a bit crazy in the order side of things because I have had my order messed up each time I have been there. Still, a good place for the Saturaday breakfast.

Swami's is a tried and true local hangout. Large menu, great food - lots's of healthy, tasty choices. Friends meet friends here and you instantly feel part of the neighborhood - even if you're not from Encinitas. Service is good, the smoothies are superb!

Great Food, but the absolute worst service on the planet. Be prepared to wait a long time, and for the staff to treat you like dirt. My last visit there, I phoned in an order and was told my order would be ready in about 10 to 15 minutes for pickup. I arrived in 20 minutes knowing that they would take longer than they told me. I paid for my lunch and then had to wait an additional 30 minutes to get my food. As I stood there I was subjected to some aggro bald employees ultra conservative political banter. When I go out to pick up my lunch, I don't care to listen to misinformed statements from someone that was calling customers "liberal jerks" behind their backs. The lack of customer service from the other employees and this employee in particular absolutely ruin the great potential that could be Swami's Cafe.

Pros: Good health food

Cons: Slowest most disrespectful service I have ever experienced

We waited a while for our food, but it was very crowded on a super sunny socal day. The food was excellent and full of nutritious, organic ingredients not typically found at common restaurants. We were impressed by the fresh juice and smoothies. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended.

I love swamis. I love driving along the coast to get there. I love sitting outside near a water fountain. I love how fresh and tasty everything is. I love getting fresh squeezed juice. I love how refreshed and energetic I feel after eating there. I love how everything feels healthy but also tastes delicious.
