Lounge by the warm, cozy fire while enjoying one of our specialty drinks. Grab your pool cue for a competitive billiard game. It?s also a great place to watch the game on its big screen televisions. Located in the Gaslamp Quarter, it?s close to Petco Park and the San Diego Convention Center. The full bar includes the finest whiskeys and other liquors, excellent wines and a wide selection of the best foreign and domestic beer, with a number of beers on tap, including fine microbrew selections. For added comfort, the lounge includes a fireplace with an attractive, innovative, elongated design: ten feet long by two feet high. It?s surrounded by comfortable seating and nearby cocktail tables, so guests enjoy food and drink in a friendly, warm environment.

In Short
Located in the space that once held The Old Spaghetti Factory, Dussini packs plenty of seating into its three-story home. Patrons populate both the upstairs loft bar, which contains a billiards area and a fireplace, and main dining area (high ceilings and oversized paintings). The wide-ranging menu features familiar favorites from across the Mediterranean, including stuffed grape leaves, spicy gazpacho soup, monkfish nicoise, veal saltimbocca and Moroccan-spiced pork chop.

Yuck Duck!

by Candyce F. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,916

Ehhh...the food was really geasy. Not my favorite place, but a good experience none the less. Dont get the duck! The bar upstairs is totally cute and trendy. They have some pool tables. The building itself it really neat as well as the decor, 5 stars on that!

This place was adorable! I would definitely go back to Dussini because everything was priced just right and the atmosphere was relaxed. It's located downtown so it's a great way to start off the night!

Always good

by Jennifer T. | insider Insider | Rank: 13,927

Dussini has the yummiest Lobster Macaroni & Cheese. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone near and far. When in San Diego you must dine here. They are located in the Gaslamp Quarter too!

happy hour

by Colleen K. C.

The hamburger sliders are excellent. Be specific when you order drinks with Vodka. They have some cheap stuff for happy hour drinks. That said the happy hour is fun!

Great Food

by Brian G. | insider Insider | Rank: 16,671

The old spaghetti Factory is no longer.. the lease is up and I believe they are demolishing the building. I certainly miss the resturant though.. It had a LOT of class and definatley was great food. I never minded waiting in lines because the food was worth it. Hope to see it back soon.

PROS: Amazing food, for very little.. always more than enough
CONS: Gets busy quick!

The Old Spaghetti Factory

by Josh B. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 11,648

The Old Spaghetti factory was a great restaurant right in downtown San Diego. Being right next to the convention center, it has a great location and was a very interesting restaurant. Unfortunately it is no longer, but will hopefully be back before long. I love you Old Spaghetti Factory!

this is one cool spaghetti factory. Its all about the location. The food is the same as the rest of them, but this is the Gaslamp quarter of SDs downtown. It is at the end of the Gaslamp, so park in a lot (youll have to pay), eat a cheap dinner and hang out downtown.

Great food & service

by automatic0220

We went to Dussini for a business dinner and were definitely happy with our choice. The service was very attentive and the food was great! We had a 7pm reservation and the restaurant was still fairly quiet for a Saturday night.

Pros: service, food, atmosphere

classy lunch spot

by greymouse26

I was in the mood for mediterranean food and we found this place. The decor inside is amazing; it's very classy with just the right amount of lighting. I got this gorgonzola salad with caramelized walnuts; it was wonderful; the dressing was to die for! I've never had a salad that was that good. The service was wonderful; our drinks were refilled quickly. The server and the employees were very friendly and the food came out quickly.

Pros: great location

Cons: limited parking

Awesome place!

by dmenkes

My girlfriend and I were visiting San Diego for a convention and were walking around trying to find a place for a good late lunch. We were not dissapointed with Dussini's! We actually came here expecting it to be another restaurant, as we'd both been there before when it was another business. But, we were drawn by the menu and the staff was very friendly. I had the Bouillabaisse de Marseilles with mixed seafood and it was delectable. Free wireless internet access.

it was just ok

by pinays

i took some friends out for dinner while visiting san diego. although the place had the nice decor (we ate upstairs), the overall experience was just ok. the price was reasonable - i spent $120 for dinner for 3 which included about 5-6 drinks. the drinks were not that good (i ordered fairly basic stuff, like grey goose gimlet, and my friends ordered their fancy mixed drinks -- none were all that great). the food was just average. my friend liked the scallops. i had the pork chops, it was good but not spectacular. i will probably try other places before i go back there again.

Awsome

by agsusc

This was an awsome place for dinner or just to enjoy a cocktail. I went there on a business trip. The food was wonderful. Everything we had was perfect. A speciality drink you can't pass up is the raspberry champaign mojito. Our server was great too. There is a bar upstairs with pool tables and a fire place.

Pros: food, drinks, environment
