Don't go there. They took over 20 minutes for a the deep fried stuff we ordered 4. They did half of the order and waited 10 minutes to do the other half. The manager Sam did nothing except to say they should have completed your order. It

Love this place!! Always a must on our way between so Cal and Vegas!! Such an amazing selection of everything. It always seems like a walk down memory lane as I spot candy and soda that I've not seen since I was a little kid. The milkshakes are to die for. The lines are usually long- but the wait is worth it.

Taking my younger siblings here is our little tradition. We get two crazy flavor shakes, share a pulled pork BBQ sandwich with Cowboy beans (cuz half will fill us up). Then we'll oggle over weird sodas, candies and meat that we want. One time I bought alligator and made a Creole stew everyone liked later.

Then we head down to the other side of the store into the creepy dollhouse! It's just full of way too many dolls that have been sitting there for years. It helps the business keep its oddball rep though I suppose. On our way out, I buy one of those little chocolate bottle liquers of Whiskey, stare at those huge dinosaur statues outside and then we go back home very proud of the odd day we've helped ourselves to.

This is a fanatastic store that has all sorts of stuff. You can buy trinkets, tourist type novelties and they have the BEST BBQ sandwiches around. You can get lots of different types of sandwiches and the food is great. You can pick from all kinds of dried fruits, candies and various other sundries. They also have antique items you can buy. They have a cluster of buildings where you can walk into a quaint, rustic yard outside to get to the stores that sell pottery, outside decorations and just about anything else. They sell life size statues that are absolutely amazing. They have a section where you can buy Hollywood related statues and pictures and a wide variety of other items. This is the most interesting place to shop if you are looking for that one of a kind, somewhat quirky item for yourself or as a gift. Try the BBQ, it's the best.

My brother and I stopped here during a high desert photoshoot last summer. We were intrigued by the combination of fast food restaurant, grocery store, and gift shop. Things like buffalo jerky and deep-fried twinkies can be found here. Yes, we tried the deep-fried twinkie. It came in a cardboard boat, the kind hotdogs come in. On top of the battered twinkie was a generous heap of whipped cream, along with strawberry syrup and, as if this weren't enough, powdered sugar. We took one bite each and threw it away, dizzy from the sheer amount of sugar in half a mouthful. It was an exprience. If you're not from these parts, you'll get an amazing ego boost as everyone around you is amazingly less healthy than you probably are.

Great place to stop for fudge, nuts, milkshakes, etc (I do wish they would get better coffee). The store is also a great place to shop for various odds and ends.

I've been here at least one hundred times or more. So much to choose from. You can get great fruit, nuts, milkshakes, sandwiches, etc. They also have a fine wine tasting room. If you're ever on the Pearblossom road east of Palmdale be sure to stop here!

Charlie Brown's is on hwy 138, so it gets a lot of exposure. It's a great place to stretch your legs. Local produce and honey are the stars, but you can stroll the kitschy-touristy section and find all sorts of stuff to amuse yourself and the kids. Homemade candy is also another treat here.

They have garden stuff, gnomes, coffee mugs, flags, decorations, and a ton more. And they always advertise in-season crops and date milkshakes.

It's a novelty you've gotta check out!
