The quality of the food is excellent and I highly recommend it
for a special occasion.

It is not inexpensive but it's definitely a "step up" from your local
beach restaurant.

The restaurant decor and atmosphere isn't anything exciting (well, they do have a decent patio) but the food is fabulous. The bread and tapenade are a great way to start the meal. I had the sea bass and my husband the veal, both were out-of-this world. The desserts were amazing too. Highly recommended.

Cute little french place off the main busy streets in downtown la jolla. a little pricey, but a great romantic atmosphere and excellent service... great drink selection

A cozy romantic dinner for two. Service was exceptional. A large selection of wines made it easy to choose the right one for our dinner. I will definitely go back!

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire dining experience at the Tapenade Restaurant. Had a quiet, intimate dinner with wonderful food and wine pairings. Great atmosphere in this little spot.
