Everyone I had talked to about this place loved it or hated it. I got the vege pizza, and it was close to gross and the service stunk. Maybe it was a bad night, or maybe they just dont care. I should have just gone with fast food.

All i can say is that this pizza is really really good. I am really happy with the quality and as well the service. This pizza is addicting and it is really fresh tasting. I tell everyone who likes thin crust pizza to try them out.

I love thin crust pizza! Amicis makes it taste really good too. It is nice here because the space is not too small that you feel like you have to rush and finish your food when the lunch crowd comes by.

I loved this place and pizza was great! Service was a bit light --but really didnt need much - to eat a pizza?! - I had the eggplant pizza an thought it was great and friends i was with had others, and tasting theirs was good too! - Eggplant sandwich was almost like mama makes! ha -- the only thing i thought was the price of a salad - was way too high... i think the ceasar salad was like 7.50 --for a small side salad too much!- but having the pizza here in sf is a lot cheaper than having to fly to NY ha .
go and try ..... great

Pros: great food - Pizza thin crust !

Cons: Price a bit high for salad.

I've been here five or six times because it's in the neighborhood. Perhaps I don't dress well enough or don't look cool enough or whatever, but the waitstaff is consistently from average to downright terrible. The management's even worse.

Case in point - last night it took em' 45 minutes to bring me a side salad and bread sticks. I am sure the waitress simply forgot.

The way the manager barked at me for trying to pay up front instead of paying the waitress. Would have loved to pay the waitress but she was nowhere to be found.

The prices are sort of high for what you get. Add to that poor service and there's no chance - not one - that I'll be back.

Go one mile downtown to any of the Italian or pizza places and you'll do better.

The pizza was decent...haven't had a craving for it since visiting. Do I plan on going back? Probably not...Dominos is better...and no, I don't think Dominos is all that great.

Pros: Close by

Cons: Expensive

Fresh ingredients, great atmosphere, wonderful staff. A great place to go with a group or by yourself, the various types of pizzas will accommodate any appetite. Wonderful pizza, great value.

Good pizza and I'm pretty picky. I prefer the plain margurita style, but without the tomatoes that they offer. Nice crust, not too burnt. the fresh basil was great. Just like Napoli!

Amici's practically a stone's throw away from my loft. Not quite "New York" style, but a keeper for those who
loves thin crusts, like i do. Garlic and clams -yum yum

Excellent wood-fired pie. I recommend the simplicity of Amici's margherita pizza. Excellent ingredients, solid crust. Finally, after a year of frustrated searching I've found good pizza in SF. The downside? It's overpriced, but since the competition can't seem to make a good pie I really have no room to compain.

Pros: Well-done pizza

Cons: Price

no matter which amici's you go to the pizza is consistent. if you like your pizza without tomato sauce, this is the place. great menu selections too.. service is friendly and will llisten to your special requests.

Pros: great thin crust pizza

Cons: loud

Pretty good pizza, fast delivery. I've had better, but all in all it's good. For some reason I just wasn't a fan of their sausage pizzas. They are quick to deliver, but only if you make a $25 minimum. If you're looking for one pizza and some sides, not sure that this is the best place because of the min. Looking for wings? Sorry. How about garlic cheese bread? Nope...

Good New York style pizza. Great for delivery, usually within 30 minutes. The menu caters to all types of taste, even offers soy style cheese. Non pizza items are quite tasty too. I would recommend the spinach salad with bacon and pine nuts.

Pros: Fast delivery

Cons: can't think of any so far...

In town from the East Coast, I was thrilled by Amici's!!! Thin crust and made as I requested, you'll want to eat more than your hungry for...it's that good! Only drawback...delivery minimum of $25! :(

Pros: GOOOOOD pizza! Made how you like it!

Cons: Delivery minimum of $25

My friends were raving about this place, so i tried it. The pizza is pretty good, better than the other chains. The delivery minimum is pretty high, so it must be their high rent. The toppings is always good (try the goat cheese one), but the crust is usually blackened because it's so thin. There aren't too many pizza joints around, so they're tops right now. There's better food out there for that price, but on a rainy night with a good DVD, why not?

Pros: good toppings, thin crust

Cons: chain-like feel, burned crust

Since I have been out here, I have been craving east coast style pizza. Since I ordered from Amici's I haven't ordered from anywhere else. Enough said :)

Pros: fast delivery

This place is very good. I live just around the corner and anytime I have ventured for any other pizza place, I was highly disappointed. This is for sure the best pizza joint in SOMA. The toppings are always fresh and delicious. The service is friendly and helpful. The ambiance is far above average for a pizza place, feels like a restaurant. They have great deals for slices before ball games. The lasagna is scrumptious, give it a try!

Pros: food, sevice

Cons: parking

Amici's makes delicious thin-crust pizza. We really can't get enough of it. Their salad wasnt so great though, so go for the pizza, not the greens.

Pros: awesome pizza, good service

Cons: substandard salad, high delivery charge

Although the pizza and pasta at Amici's are pretty good, the delivery minumum is so high!! $25 is the minumum and I live less than 10 minutes away. Not one of thier pizza's on the menu cost that much! The pizza's good, but they're not all that.

Pros: good pizza, good pasta

amici's has done it again! the inside is surprisingly nice for a pizza/pasta joint. their pizza is so tasty and it's so perfect for before the game (cheaper than the stinky fries in the park and a good base for a day of drinking).

Pros: tasty pizza, awesome location, price is right
