We had 8 people in our party and ordered a ton of food. Imagine our surprise when our bill was only $50. The food here is amazingly good and the prices are obviously better.

Rosalind's cemented my dislike of Ethiopian food. All of the meat (chicken, beef, and shrimp) was over-cooked across the board. We ordered the shrimp appetizer, and all of the shrimp were so over-cooked that you couldn't peel/de-vein it

Service at this restaurant was absolutely awful. Besides that, there wasn't much variety on the menu and the food was below average. My husband and I have been to a lot of Ethiopian restaurants and this one had the worst I've ever had. I

This is the best of the Ethiopian places on Fairfax. The food is wonderful, the setting is nice, and the service is good. Try the honey wine.

I really enjoyed the vegetarian dish. It's difficult to get great food and great service from many of the African restaurants.....this place has them both!

I truyl enjoyed some real Afrikan tradition. I loved how it was set up. My friend and I set in the little booths for two, where you can eat of what looks like a steel drum (sorry, don't know what the table was actually called). We ate

The waitress was slow, but helpful. The flavor was amazing. It's like a spice circus in your mouth - each flavor is a new act.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in LA, great food and inexpensive. I recommend getting the vegetarian combination, which is more than enough food for two people. It includes collard greens, red lentils, split peas, potatoes, and cabbage with carrots. It's served of course, with injera, which is the spongy Ethiopian flat bread made from teff, an iron-rich grain. You have the option of ordering this with salads, which have a great salty, lemony flavor. You can get all of this for just $12. The food is delicious, filling and can be spicy. I also recommend some of the meat dishes, especially the special tibs, which is beef cooked with onions and peppers, and the awaze tibs, beef cooked in a spicy sauce. The only issue I have with this place is that the service can be a bit slow, and you usually have to ask for your bill.

PROS: Great food, low prices
CONS: Slow service, sometimes
