This restaurant is like a hole in the wall. Very small place. We had to wait outside because the line was too long(maybe 10 people were waiting inside). The service was ok. The food was tasty and they also have a buffet if you do not wish to order from the menu. You need to finish what's in your plate or you will be charge a fee(if you chose buffet) unless they changed it within the year. Not the best food but it's not expensive and it looks like a family restaurant.

PROS: not expensive
CONS: very small restaurant, eating very close to each other

small restaurant on 10th ave - the bento lunch is excellent. they have raised their prices recently, but still it's reasonable for what you get - soup, entree, and some sushi.

PROS: food
CONS: nothing

The food at Ricksha, while not exciting or flashy, is tasty and satisfying. As a Ricksha customer for over ten years, I've found my favorites to be the Tempura Udon (with a tasty meat-based broth and Tempura that isn't too oily like some places'), and the Salmon Teriyaki (a good-sized serving). If you'd like to try a homestyle Japanese dish, try the Yosenabe, a steaming bowl full of meat and vegetable stew. While the sushi is not great, Ricksha's Tenmaki roll is an acception and makes a tasty first course. The usual Japanese appetizers of pickled cabbage and clear soup are very good also. Ricksha is a nice family restaurant with an atmosphere that, like the food, will make you feel warm and comfortable.
