Cafe 976

I like Cafe 976 and its very relaxed atmosphere.If I'm in the neighborhood I will often stop here for a cup of coffee.The outdoor tables and garden area are nice and the coffee is good too.It's a good local PB spot.

I have to say that I'm not an everyday coffee drinker, probably because I don't wake up that early. But on those tough mornings there is no place better to stroll down to the 976. It's a really peaceful place to just jump start the day and get your head on straight. Everyone who works there are great and the coffee isn't half bad either. I can't say much about the food because I have never ate there but an awesome place to start the day.

The atmosphere for this cafe is perfect, but the service is slow so make sure you have at least and hour and a half to eat. The food is good, but slightly expensive for soup and sandwiches (about $15-$20 a person for lunch) Otherwise, it is a great place to relax on the pattio or sit in the window seat and complete some homework with a cup of coffee.

Best breakfast burritos you'll ever have, including loads for vegetarians. Yummy acai bowls. Wonderful garden, always in bloom, with tables in the shade. Great!

I've spent many a day on the comfy patio of Cafe 976. It was a very popular study-cafe for students in San Diego at the time and I imagine it continues to be the same.

Delicious sandwiches, great pastries and wonderful coffee drinks are all to be expected and enjoyed at this real hidden gem!

This is the most unique coffee cafe you will ever find in san diego. It is on the corner of the street covered in vines and neat plants. It is so pleasant to sit outside and just enjoy being surrounded by cool plants. They have great service, always friendly people working. They have teriffic coffee, and if you have a chance get a meal here. They have sandwiches and pastries.
