My husband and I checked out this daycare facility for our infant about 6 months before we actually needed it. We were told that it was good we were looking so far in advance and that the fall was a good time for enrollment. We turned in the paperwork immediately to ensure a place for our infant before we went back to work. I called to make sure they had received the paperwork and they said they had it. A couple months went by and I did not hear anything. I called and was told that decisions were being made that week for the fall (this was in June). I waited a few weeks and in the middle of July I called to check on the status after not hearing anything only to be told "oh, we don't have any room for you for the fall". Were they planning on communicating this to us? Now we were way behind on waiting lists and created a very stressful situation since we had to go back to work and had no place for our child. If you plan on using this place, make sure you call, call, call. My mistake was to assume that we would get in because we turned the paperwork in early and were told that the fall was a good time for enrollment. Even if we weren't picked it sure would have been nice to have that communicated to us.
