Massimo recommended the Brazilian treatment for my hair because I have great wavy hair, and lots of it, but it is very fine, and needed constant blow drying and curling to look great. Massimo promised that the Brazilian treatment would make my hair look great straight out of the swimming pool and shower without any touch ups at all...and he was right! I can go from the shower to an important event with nothing more than a brush through my hair and out the door. Cuts down on prep time dramatically given all I have to concentrate on is my make up and ensemble. My hair is already handled. And it has lasted for MONTHS! I am so so happy. Thanks Massimo.

Massimo has been doing my color for years. He recommended the Brazilian hair treatment. I had it done for my 7 week trip to NYC. 7 weeks in NYC in the humid summer and I had nothing but GOOD hair days. My hair was easy to style and looked fabulous. If you are a slave to your hair and the weather, go get the Brazilian from Massimo. It is so worth it.

My hair has never looked so good after going to Jamie. If you struggle with curly, crazy hair- Jamie will make it look gorgeous and teach you how to work with your hair, not fight with it!

I used to have to straighten my hair or pile on products to look presentable. Now I just let my hair air dry for a little wave or blowdry (no brush necessary) and it looks like I've spent hours straightening it!

It's not easy kids - limp hair, gray to be covered, a need to feel hip even in your dotage. What to do? Answer: Jamie Brown! Great colorist and techniques to solve all those problems and more. My hair and I bounce out of that salon. Now If she could only make my brown eyes, blue!

Every time I go see Massimo I leave feeling gorgeous! He knows exactly what I want, I dont even have to tell him. My hair feels so healthy and looks shinier than ever after a trip to Allen Pacheco's salon. He is a pro and thenk God because he always fixes my bangs after I ruin them by trimming them myself. I love him!!!!

I have been going to Massimo for three years. I was in Europe last spring visiting my mother, when she suggested we both go to her salon for some fresh color. BIG MISTAKE! I walked out with bleach spots all over my head and hair texture rivaling a bristle pad. The day after I got back to the US, I went straight to Massimo who fixed my color and saved my over processed hair. With regular cuts, and hair treatments my mane is back on track and life is good! Thank you Massimo!

I absolutely love Paul. I went to someone else for over 10 years and then my Esthetician recommended Paul, so 3 years ago I went to see him. My hair is curly, fine and needs color because of the gray. Not many stylists do a good job with curly hair - Paul is awesome. The color always looks natural - I get lots of compliments on my hair. I highly recommend that you give him a try. He's also a very funny and fun guy.

This was my first visit to Allen Pacheco - the haircut by Christine Fields was terrific. I will definitely return, and highly recommend Christine in particular, and the Allen Pacheco salon in general.

Paul Welsh is VERY VERY patient with my extremely thick, always mismanaged, and possible too too long dark hair. He is instrumental in the removal of those pesky grey hairs that cannot be kept away. I always leave his presence feeling young, fresh and extremely sassy.

I was introduced to Paul after a year of constantly hearing how great of a stylist he was. Although I wasn't really interested in changing to someone new, I joined my freind as she went for her standard six week cut and color. I think seeing him in action was the deal breaker.
Not only is he very entertaining, but for the first time in my life, I actually have a hair style and it has never been healthier or looked better. I know this because I get so many compliments on my hair and the freinds I have referred are still with him too.
The best thing about Paul doing my hair is when I leave the salon, I don't have to go home and fix my hair to go out for the night, like I always had to in the past. (I know everyone can relate) He knows exactly what makes me happy, each and every time!

I "discovered" Paul a few years ago at my Dr's office. A nurse there had an amazing hair cut and she told me
about Paul.
Paul is the best sylist/colorist I've ever been to (and I've been to many
over the years). I'm always getting compliments on my hair :-)
Paul's also a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor!!

I have been a client of Paul's for over 20 years!! Paul has styled my hair through my 30s, my 40s, and now I'm approaching the big 50. Throughout my aging process, my hair has always been one of my best assets due to Paul's artistic ability. I call him the king of texturizing hair. Currently, I have straight, shoulder length layered hair which always has so much movement and volume. Paul consistently changes it up so I'm never bored with each style and every cut looks awesome as it grows out. This is key to having a fantastic hair stylist!!! I highly recommend Paul Welsh both for color and cuts...

Grazie Massimo! I've been going to Massimo since 2001 and have not strayed since! His color is amazing -- I get compliments on it all the time, amazing blending of color and natural look -- and his cuts are right on. I also had very long extensions for two years that he did and people could not tell they were extensions! They were unbelievable. Now I'm back to a more professional look with honey blonde shoulder length hair and he always keeps it looking fresh and healthy. And his prices are very reasonable. I've tried really pricey Beverly Hills salons and swankier places, but once I found Massimo I keep coming back. I also love this salon, easy lot parking, and location right in the heart of Main St. Santa Monica and all its fun shops and food joints.

When I left Europe, I was a little concerned about getting my hair cut since it seemed that most women were more into color than precision cuts. I don't need color - I am blessed with natural blond hair - I just need a professional hair style that I can easily maintain at home. The best thing a hair stylist can do is listen to what you want, make recommendations and then make it happen. Unfortunately, some often do what they think looks good on you and then don't even execute well. Massimo is different and that's I why I will drive 50 miles to see him! I have a beautiful mid-length bob that is slightly longer in the front than in the back, with a full set of bangs - stylish, fit for the corporate world, yet young and versatile, just long enough to wear it small poney tail for working out. The kind of haircut that seems deceptively easy but cannot afford to be poorly done as it will be obvious. You immediately see that Massimo knows how to use scissors for the hair to fall just right. And not only is he nice, his prices are affordable! I highly recommend him.

I've wanted hair extensions for years, but was afraid to get them b/c I have thin hair and thought you would be able to tell. I've been going to Massimo for several years for color and was told that he does good extensions so I finally gave in and got them and now I LOVE THEM!!! Everybody thinks that are real, they look real, you cannot tell at all and even my close friends were confused thinking I changed my haircut or something not realizing that I had gotten extensions b/c they look so natural. Massimo is the only stylist that I would ever trust to put in extensions. He really cares about them looking good and real! Now I'm addicted to them!

I've been going to Ruth Korn for facials and waxing at Pacheco for years. She is absolutely amazing - such a perfectionist, very professional and knowledgeable, and clearly loves what she does. My skin went from drab and spotty to clear and glowing under her care. I've sent numerous people to her over the years and they've all come to adore and depend on her. If I ever moved from LA, I would come back periodically just to see her, because I don't think there could possibly be another like her.

Massimo is terrific at color, cuts and customer service. I've been his client for three years, and have always been grateful for his honesty and skill. He is very exacting with color. I have dark hair and he makes sure that all color stains are gone and so when you walk out, it doesn't look like you've just had your hair processed. He really listens and is an excellent hair cutter and shaper. Plus, he has a sparkling personality and always is interesting to talk to. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Paul is hands-down the best stylist I have ever gone to. He is amazing with my short hair. With his focus on texture and shaping, I get a beautiful unique look that not only looks incredible when I walk out of the salon, but grows out well too! He has also done great color on my hair (which I change a lot) - everything from highlights, to funky chunks of color, to solid dark brown. I love my hair. It can be hard to find a good colorist, but Allen @ Allen Pacheco gave me great blonde highlights. He is so friendly, easy to talk to and gives you what you want. You can tell he has a lot of experience and understands the difference between ash blonde and golden blonde. I am defintiley go back and reccomend him to all blondes out there. Thanks Allen.

I've had my hair dyed several times and never have I had such incredible results! When I went to see Maria (Valdez), she gave me the best double process, left my hair soft and shiny, and got me that Jessica Simpson blonde I had been searching for without any gross bronze color! If you're looking for a spectacular hair color experience (as well as an outstanding cut -- not to mention great conversation) head over to Allen Pacheco Salon and make sure to ask for Maria Valdez -- she's great!

I have short, fine hair -- I had always dreamt of having that thick, silky hair the movie stars have. I went into Allen Pacheco salon and Maria took care of me. Not only did I have an awesome experience with a really friendly hair stylist. The extensions looked so natural that no one even noticed it wasn't my hair! The Kerstase treatments keep my hair healthy and shiny, i haven't experienced any breakage in my return visits because of how careful Maria is, and I am pleased to say I've been back several times since my first visit for other treatments wtih Maria. Try her out, she knows her stuff!

What an awesome salon. I had Jonathan Reynolds cut my hair, he is phenominal! This is the best cut I have ever gotten. He takes his time, he makes sure you are happy. Definitely worth the drive over to get your hair cut right.

I found Lorena here and she was exactly what my hair needed.

I decided to take a chance and try a new salon. I'm SO happy that I did! I actually found this place on City Search, called up and got an appointment very easily. The location is great and it's a nice, clean salon. Larena cut and colored my hair and it looks so great.. I explained exactly what I wanted and she totally listened and totally got it! She got me out of my boring-hair-rut! When I got back to work all of my co-workers were going crazy - they couldn't stop complimenting me! I will be going back to Larena at Allen Pacheco from now on.

We all know how hard it is to find a hair stylist we love and TRUST well, look no further this salon knows what they are doing everyone is very personable and friendly which makes you feel right at home. Allen has done my blonde highlights and cut twice and each time I walk out I love it and receive so many complements. He takes time to ask what I want and actually listens along with makes suggestions on how I can make my hair even healthier.

Allen has been cutting my hair for over twenty years. He is the ultimate professional and his salon is friendly and top notch in every way. When you are in Allen's chair you are the ONE. He really listens and he takes his time to make sure your experience is perfect in every way. What I really like is that he is not only great at cutting and color, but he can finish. You can ALWAYS count on walking out with your hair looking its best for any occasion. The Keratase products and treatments are worth every penny as they keep the best condition of the hair. You won't be sorry if you go to Pacheco for your next hair adventure.

Pacheco is a great salon, got a facial and a fabulous haircut there. But I've been a client of Amy Densmore since she worked at "the other place that will remain unnamed." She's THAT good. Gentle but thorough and I'm so glad that she's in Santa Monica now.
