.

I was a member of this gym for almost two years, but haven't been in since around Feb 06 so I can't speak for any changes since then. This gym was exclusively a women's gym but I heard that they've been ordered to become co-ed so changes may occur soon. While I was a member they had great classes with a variety of choices- from pilates & yoga to kickboxing and boot camp style classes. They tried to cater their class times and types to the interests and schedules of their members. Most of their instructors were well trained and great teachers. They had a nice sized locker room with showers and a lot of weight equipment and cardio machines, but the facility as a whole is showing it's age despite an attempt to pep it up with some new paint. There was usually a cardio machine (or 2) down for repair, and the color scheme felt dated, and small things like a blown speaker were common. Besides that the atmosphere was nice, and supportive and the staff was usually friendly and helpful. I used their daycare a lot which was convenient and part of your membership fee, but was very basic. Not many toys, with a constantly turned on tv and was usually staffed with uninterested or untrained girls (but not all and esp. not my children's favorite- Perla!) Other than that their membership was well priced and a great place to get in shape or train.

PROS: great classes- some great staff- good enviroment and priced well
CONS: facility showing its age, staff uneven, daycare very basic
