Vp Discount Health & Food Mart

This place isn't as good as other local places (such as Erewon), and not the cleanest place in the world either. It used to be an Erewon market until that market moved up the street several years ago, and since then it has been looking for its customers - yet on the couple of occassions I've been in there the place has been dead. The store was small and packed full o' vitamins. If you're going to shop for food or produce, this probably isn't the best place.

VP Discount Health and Food Mart is a very small store. I expected more. I was on vacation and went into this store. Half of the store was vitamins, herbs, supplements. But there are other healthy things that are important to a store of this nature. Although I did find what I was looking for, the selection was not a lot. I had to settle for a substitiute. They have a grocery store inside the health mart as well. The prices were not discounted at all, but I really didn't think they would be. The next time I am in LA, I will definately go back here if the need arises. But I do wish they had more selection of non-vitamin type items. I recommend this business especially if you are in the area.

VP came recommended, so I guess I expected a bit more of it, and was disappointed when I saw how small the actual inside of the store was. I wasn't there for vitamins or supplements which takes up half the store, and I didn't get a smoothie, though they looked great, and I'll try one when I go back. The actual grocery part of the store was ok, the prices weren't very discounted, though I found a few real gem items at wonderfully discounted prices. I'm not sure I will be adding VP into my group of regular specialty grocery stores, but it is local so I know I'll be back - and get a smoothie next time!
