Apple Store

These people are really good. They helped me when I had trouble with my apple ipod mini 4GB. I bought it from there, too! They have a really cool store and it is located convieniently in downtown so you can go shopping then go in and fix your ipod/apple product. This apple store sells ipods, computers, laptops, speakers, covers, etc. It's a really cool place to buy your computer things from. They have really nice customer service and they are great people!

It so happens they sell my brand of favorite computer. User-friendly environment. Good people, pretty knowledgeable on the basics stuff but for highly technical stuff on professional software they would recommend that you sign up for Apple ProCare and get someone who's 'trained' in those stuff.

Instead of having to replace my brand new iPod which had locked up, they helped me fix it over the phone. I have heard that they will replace iPods on the spot without a receipt, but who wants to download everything all over again. Fabulous support and no wait on the phone. Highly recommended.

I belong to a Mac user group and have a chance to communicate with other Mac users in Berkeley and Boston; quite a few people have complained about the quality of the geniuses at their local Apple Store, but I love the geniuses at the Walnut Creek store. I have even had several minor repairs done for free. The knowledge base of floor staff, on the other hand, can be uneven (to the point of being dead wrong), so you need to know something about the purchase you plan to make before you make it.

Located in Broadway Plaza, in Walnut Creek, CA. I love this place. It is a very inviting and casual environment. Almost like a family type store. You can go in and try everything from the Apple desktop computers to the new IPOD nano. There is plenty of staff on hand. They are friendly and helpful. They have what is called a "genuis bar", where you can go and get your questions answered. There is also a small area that looks like a theater and you can watch small clips about new products. There is a childrens table with computers and small chairs. Really a nice store to visit. The best thing is that the prices are very good and competative.

PROS: Casual, friendly environment, Hands on demos, Expert help.
CONS:

The Apple Store! They sell Macs, Ipods, accessories, you name it! These people are realy great and the customer service is superb! I highly reccomend this Apple Store! I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. The sales people are very honest, down- to- earth people and I appriciate that. They don't try to talk you into buying a lot of junk that you have no use for.
