XLNT TINT Window Tinting

This is the 2nd car I have had done here and all I can say is WOW !!.. Very good job and not a bit of dirt, scratches or trash left behind. My 2003 CTS windows were still perfect when I sold it 6 years later. I just had my 2009 CTS done and it looks great. Thanks for such great service.

Last week I had my Mercedes (Obsidian Black Metallic)2009 CLK windows treated with the Huper Optic Ceramic Tint at Xlint Tint. I shopped around a lot and found most companies had one, maybe two standard types of tint, but when I called Xlint Tint, Anna Marie explained all of their tints in detail. I think they have 4 or 5 styles with different shades in each style. It became clear that the Ceramic tint was exactly what I was looking for.
They did a fantastic job, and I cant believe how much heat it keeps out. Not too dark, and looks great on my color car. Thanks guys (and gals)!
For what it is worth, I never had tinted windows before, but I really believe you get what you pay for.

I had my house windows tinted in July 2001 by Xlnt Tint. To be honest, I really havent thought much about it other than our house has been cool and comfortable for the past 9 years. Well we are selling the house and upon a walk through with the new buyers, we notice that two of the windows had started to peel at the top. It was above the blinds, so we never saw it. But the new buyers are rather picky. Well I pulled the warranty that Xlnt gave us way back then, and apparently it had a Lifetime Warranty against peeling, and all the other things. I called expecting there to be a catch, but the lady who answered the phone (I think Patricia was her name) was happy to schedule an appointment for Mike to come out and look at it. Mike was out the very next day, said that the peeling was very rare, but completely under warranty. They had a crew out the next day and replaced the windows in question. Didnt cost me one penny, and as a side note, they put a rush on fixing my issue as I am moving next week, and have to have my little list all fixed before the buyer signs off and finishes escrow.
A warranty is only as good as the company standing behind it. This company is really someone you can trust.
Elliot the installer said that he has only seen the window tint peel like this a couple of times in the past 11 years he has been working at Xlnt tint.

I just bought a new fully loaded truck and was apprehensive about getting the windows tinted. I was apprehensive because I had the windows tinted on my last vehicle at another tint shop with disastrous results. The other shop fried the door panel with a heat gun while drying the film and the door had to be reupholstered. Obviously I was not about to hand over the keys to my new truck to that shop! So I began looking for references for a new tint shop when I came upon this web site. After reading all the great reviews I decided on Xlnt tint.

Overall the tinting looks good. However there were two items that were a bit disappointing. Perhaps my expectations were set too high based upon all of the positive reviews. First the film trim at the top of the rollups was not as flush or smooth as I had expected. Not all that bad, I was just expecting the film to be trimmed flush. The second disappointment was finding a significant amount of liquid on the door speaker grille that had puddled in the door storage compartment.

Like I said the tinting looks good overall. Just surprised that the trim quality & care of the vehicle was not as expected.

I had my 2008 VW GTI tinted this weekend, and since this was the first time I have had windows tinted on my car, I did not know what to expect. I did my research online and checked out a lot of different shops around OC on the internet, and XLNTs website stood out as being well thought out and easy to navigate with a lot of useful info. I decided to get a quote and was extremely impressed that they got back to me rather quickly and enabled me to get the process started without any problems, putting my concerns and questions to rest. Needless to say, I scheduled my appointment for the first available slot they open on that Saturday. Annamarie was most helpful in getting me the info I needed and getting my appointment setup.

I arrived for my appointment about a half hour early on Saturday to check out the different films and to see how they look in person. Todd was at the front desk and helped me out with everything and explained the differences between the films and demonstrated the heat blocking Ceramic film (that stuff is very impressive). He even went so far as to demonstrate the look of the films by showing me different cars that were in the parking lot. That was truly helpful since this was my first experience with deciding on how dark I wanted to go. I opted for 35% Carbon all the way around and couldn't be happier! Total install took just under 2 hours and the waiting room was comfortable and equipped with a TV (Judge Judy kept me pretty entertained), wireless internet, and stocked with a variety of different magazines.

I just did some research and found this Citysearch thing, and had to give Xlnt a review. I have been going there since Mike first started out and they have always done a great job. Well I moved to St Louis and just had my new Honda Passport tinted at Solar Control Films-Midwest. Well lets just say they dont hold a candle to Xlnt. I now have gaps on the top of my windows that are about 1/4". They say "that is the best we can do" So I had to bring my Pontiac Grand Prix Xlnt did and show them the way it is done in Ca. Haven?t seen a reaction from a tint shop like that on the quality I brought from Anaheim!!! Well keep it up guys and my next car is going on a road trip back to Anaheim next time I need tint. If anyone is shopping around, just go there and you will see the way it is supposed to be done. Then go ANYWHERE else (including St. Louis) and check out their quality.

I brought my 88 Honda Accord to get tinted and they brought to my attention that the rear passenger window didnt roll down. I forgot the motor was broken as I dont use it much. So they were able to tint the window but they said when I roll it down I will have a gap because they couldn?t get to the part that goes up in the gasket. However if I get it fixed they would gladly redo it for free. I went to Hardin Honda to have a new motor installed (ouch, very expensive) and went back to Xlnt Tint. I really thought they may try to charge me again, but when they pulled my record they noted on my invoice that they would redo it for free and they did! All with a smile and only took about 25 minutes. I wish everyone had customer service like this place!!! Thanks guys (and gals:)

I've taken two of my cars so far (once in 2004 with IS300 and about 3 weeks ago with M5). I love the service and the quality of work that was done to both of my cars.
Pros: Great service. Price is reasonable. Good to have a wireless Internet inside the building so customers can use Internet while waiting for their cars to get tinted.
Cons: (1) After I got my car back, I noticed little bit of tiny bubbles on 2 front windows (barely noticeable.. on the edge). Hopefully those will go away once I leave my car outside the sun for long period of time. If not I guess I will just take it back and see what they can do.
(2) I guess tint films don't stick too well on the dot-matrix area.
(3) Promised it would be done in 2 hours. It actually took 2.5 hours. no biggie... ^^

I guess my "cons" are actually longer than "pros". But I definitely recommend this place to others. And if I ever have to go to this place again in the future, I know I am not going to hesitate a bit!! This place is definitely worth 5 STARS.

really really bad service i cant believe it i spent over is $250 on tinting which did not even last fewdays started bubbling and fading even though its life time warrenty but who has time to go back every week to get it replace. besides that they will some how force you to spend over $200.00

I went in to get a tint strip on the windshield and they did an excellent job. They installed it exactly where I told them to and did a flawless job. They have top notch service and facilities and use only the highest quality products. I would never even consider taking my cars to any other shop except XLNT TINT after this great experience! A+++.

In the last 5 +- years, myself and my family have taken all of our cars (2 corollas, 1 Lancer, 1 Explorer, 1 Expedition, 1 Jaguar XJ8, 1 thunderbird, 1 Focus) to Xlnt Tint in Anaheim for tinting and have never recieved anything less than excellent service. I recently brought in my '09 Ford Focus and my sister asked them to take a look at one of her windows that had a scratch in the tinting. They redid ALL of her windows (included in their lifetime warrenty) for free. Thanks again, Xlnt Tint. You're heads above the competition!

Very easy to set up, I did it over the internet and one phone call.
They told me 3 hours, it actually took about 20 minutes longer than the estimate.
The car looks fantastic. I put Ceramic on an Audi A8 and I will be bringing my other car in to do as well.
Shop was clean and enticing where all they do is Tint Jobs.
Shaye and Mike provided incredible service, and they treated my new car with the same care that they treated the owner.
They answered questions for me after the job was done and followed up to make sure I was pleased.

These guys have many great reviews and almost seems to good to be true. I decided to roll the dice and have my 2008 WRX tinted today, and I have to say after everything was all said and done... THIS PLACE ROCKS! They are a very busy shop compared to other places I have seen. Must be a good reason. I waited a little over two hours in their waiting room, and talked with 3 other customers that have been going there for years. This is only my 3rd car I have owned, but I know I will be back with my next one.
Also they have 4 different types of tints to choose from and each one has different levels, but Shane was very good at explaining them and I went with the carbon one. Car looks awesome. Also if anyone is looking for an awesome website for WRX perfomance parts go to: www.xcceleration

XLNT is the best place to go if u want a good tint and excellent customer service. After the first review i gave the manager had called me saying that he will give me a free auto detailing for my Lexus IS250. The detailing was great, it made my car look good as new.I would recommend XLNT to anyone who needs a tint for their car.

I would like to thank everyone at XLNT TINT. They were extremely helpful and professional, making sure I made the right decisions for my needs. My wife and I called XLNT TINT to have our whole house tinted. They came in and explained how the process would work and gave us samples to look over. They then priced out the work. A few days later they came back to start the work and did a very nice job! The whole house looks great! The staff was very great to work with as well. You wont find a better tinting establishment anywhere.
Highly recommend them to everyone looking for a fantastic organization with quality and customer service first as their slogan!
If you need tint for your car, home or business, this is the place to call.

I have had 2 of my vehicles done in the last month.This is the best window tint facility I have ever seen.If you want a professional job on your tint this is the place to go.I am going to have my wifes car tinted next.The 25.00 coupon was a plus also.

Google-"ceramic window films". You will find that Huper Optik was the pioneer of the film. There are some shops selling a cheap knock off. Glad to know Xlnt now offers Huper. Just had my Scion done and love it. Had to take my last car to LA to get Huper Optiks a year ago.

Just had my BMW 3 series tinted in their new Ceramic tint. Cant believe how much heat it keeps out. Worth every penny. Check out their heat box demo, it is really cool.
Very clean shop, and happy to accept the citysearch coupon. Don"t forget to print it out!

My review is a little over due, but basically I contacted them on a Friday in January and was able to schedule with Kris to get my car tinted the very next day. I wanted to get all the windows and sunroof tinted on my Audi Q7. Tint makes such a difference, especially when you have a black leather interior! I was able to get all the windows done for what I consider a very reasonable price. The shop is very professional and clean. Can't beat the citysearch coupon and the fact that they are so highly reviewed. Great customer service from Kris... You know your car will be safe and delivered on time as promised. I will definitely go back to them for all my future tinting needs.

Everything turned out great! Fast service with quality installation. I chose the Carbon tint so it does not interfere with my antenna reception on my 2008 Honda Accord. My new car looks totally sick...don't go anywhere else. Don't forget to mention City Search for a $25.00 discount! Kris gave me the discount even though I forgot the coupon I printed out. They also have WIFI in their waiting room, so bring your laptop if you are waiting, it is free!

I was quiet skeptical about window tinting after taking my 745Li to a tint shop in Whittier I dont care to mention, but they scratched my my car when cutting the film outside the vehicle with there blades. Xlent Tint assured me that would not happen with them due to a 60' inch plotter they have that cuts all the peices for them, they drapped my door panel and had exceptional service. Will definitely be returning for my next vehicle.

I visited a few tint shops and once I saw Xlnt Tint's shop it was obvious this is where I should leave my car. Very clean shop & great customer service. They obviously know what they are doing here. My car turned out great! (2008 Mercedes C Class) Just what they promised, only took 2 hours. They were highly recommended by Mercedes Benz of Anaheim where I bought my car. This is definitely a higher class tint shop, not your average place. It is a bit pricier than other shops but you get what you pay for! I highly recommend to everyone. A+++++ service.

This is the best tinting place I've been to! They truly live up to their name and their customer service is great. I had the windows tinted on my car and they look great. I've been to a number of other places to have my other cars tinted and none of them can even compare to this place, their warranty is great and so is the quality of their work.

XLNT Tint did a great job tinting my Civic Hybrid. My car looks great. After I got it tinted and drove home (35 miles away) I noticed that there was a line on my back window and a bubble on my passenger window. I gave Kris a call and he had me come back in to inspect the windows. Once I brought it back in, he knew right away that they needed to redo the 2 windows. After the 2nd job everything looks great. Great service as well. I will be bringing my gf's vehicle to get tinted sometime in the future.

Installed the Carbon Tint.
They also informed me that Metallic tint blocks GPS signals, bluetooth and the radio antennae in the back window of my 300. No other tint shop informed me of this.

I usally don't do reviews but these folks are informative and respectful, they did two E classes for me and my Brother last Saturday under 2 hours together and they came out great, one window even had a bubble that they took back in and redid on the spot, amazing service!!

Got my Z06 done here with the Carbon Film, they did my entire back window in one piece without leaving any white bubbling at the top and covered my entire front doors not leaving any light at the bottom or top, which isn't common with other Tint shops. Been taking my cars here for 8 years and will continue to do so.

The service at Xlnt in Anaheim is truly the best. They make it a point to inform customers that it is illegal to have tinted front windows that the customer can be ticketed for the tint. They even offer to sell an insurance policy where they will remove and then replace the tint if the customer is ticketed.

Moreover it is the customer?s responsibility to know the law and the tint law in CA states that it is illegal to have the front windows tinted. It is not illegal to install the tint.

They work fast, always give me a discount and do quality work.

I called around for different quotes. When I called, they were one of the few places that warned about the possible interference of metalized film and the antenna located in the rear windshield. Most other shops did not warn of this problem. Then when I read the manual, it also warned of this problem. I didn't want to risk the chance of using metalized film, even though other shops said there shouldn't be a problem when I asked about the intereference (after learning of the risk). So I went with the 3M scotchtint carbon film over the metalized film.

The guy at the front desk was very nice and patient as I thought about which film and darkness to get. He was even nice about letting me think it over and come back. He also patiently answered my questions. I took the car in and went shopping with a friend. They called me about 2 hours later (4-door sedan) and said it was completed.

As far as prices go, it was a little pricier than other places, but I'm still glad I chose XLNT Tint. They did a great job tinting my car. Although they are one of the more expensive places, I highly recommend them for their service and quality.

On a friends recommendation I had my windows tinted on my 2000 Firebird at Xlnt. I had my rear hatch limod (two layers in fact) and my driver/passenger windows done with a medium shade. I got such a great price and expedient service that I went back and got my windshield (yes, my windshield) tinted with the lightest shade possible.
I enjoyed their service so much; Im going back for a three-peat to do my new windshield.
I have never received a tint ticket, even though Ive been pulled over many times. I hesitate to go further; I really dont want to press my luck; but come on, we should all know that anything on our windows, even the privacy glass we can get from the factory is subject to police discretion.
Xlnt is a great place; I recommend it to anyone who is thinking about getting their windows tinted.

I had one car done here and i regreted it. They didnt warn me about possible tickets i would get if i got my front two windows tinted. They were such jerks! I wouldnt recommend anyone coming to this place, they over charge and do a horrible job. I had bubbles that didnt dissappear from my windows until i went to get them re-tinted at a diffrent tint shop. I would never recommend this place.
