This is a clean, somewhat fancy bowling place. Kind of a superstore version of a bowling alley. If you like bowling, and want minimally seedy, this is a great choice.

I enjoyed taking my family for a fun evening of bowling. It is a special treat for all of us to spend time together.

I like that Pinz is attached to Jerry's and therefore, you can order food and drinks from Jerry's while you are bowling. There's also an arcade in case you want to shoot some pool or play air hockey. The prices for bowling are not particularly cheap, and at peak times, the place gets pretty crowded. There is ample parking, which is nice.

This is where Justin Timberlake and I go to roll a few frames. It's a little dicey when we run in to Cameron Diaz, since she still bowls here. But it's hilarious to watch Jessica Biel's reaction.

This place was ok for a few games but i will not come back. One problem is that the employees there dont have manners.

THE WORST BOWLING EXPERIENCE EVER! Eight of us went to Pinz to celebrate my friends birthday and from the very beginning were treated like crap. We asked for two lanes since we had eight people, the girl at the counter said we needed nine if we wanted two lanes...The place was not very busy and we could see that this person had a horrible attitude so we went with the one lane. She put us in the middle of two other big parties and most of us had nowhere to sit or even stand. After the first game we had a friend join us and he paid for eight people before realizing that four people were sitting the next one out. When we asked for a refund the same girl told us that it was not her problem and they don't give refunds. In a very condescending tone said "how about a birthday announcement instead", the nerve of this girl! So we asked for a manager to see if maybe we could get a refund or at least play two games since we just paid for it, the manager sided with his employee but reluctantly let us played two games. Ten minutes later he came over to us (we thought to say sorry) and began to tell us off about "the way we talked to his employee". I've never seen such poor customer service or even people skills for that matter. None of us will ever go back and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!

I suggested Pinz to a girlfriend for her birthday party and everyone had such a good time! They have a full bar...need I say more? LOL, the drinks actually improved my bowling game. Staff was nice, not overly friendly, but not pretentious as you might expect. Overall, fun times!!

I like going here with my kids during non-peak hours. It's not as expensive for the lanes and there is usually no wait. If you get hungry, you can order something from Jerry's deli. And, you can also order cocktails from there. It's overall a good time.

It often gets really crowded here, so unless you are part of the big crowd slowing everything down, it is not that fun. It is a little expensive for bowling, but many people still like it. If your friends want to bowl, you can go over to Jerry's and get some drinks while you wait.

The plus side is that there's a lot going on, up-to-date, and there's great food...the downside is that the customer service is horrible. I called in advance to check the price and was misqutoed, the price was over $5.00 more than they had told me per game per person. We were shuffled around to different employees when we were purchasing our games and needless to say we will never go there again.

I have only been to Pinz a couple of times with some old friends of mine. They tell me that Shaq, the basketball player, used to play at this bowling alley when he was still with the Lakers. Anyway, I thought their laser lights and glow in the dark pins were pretty cool. They also have lots of arcade games, pool tables and air hockey. They have leagues as well.

This is your grandfather's bowling alley, restored to it's heyday. You might spot a celebrity just trying to get some good old-fashioned bowling in. The best part is that there's an excellent deli attached that you can order food from, which is much better than your usual bowling-alley-chili-dog fare.

if you are trying to plan a party don't bother with Studio City Bowl (now PINZ). The planning staff is rude and not helpful in any capacity. They are pleased enough to brag about a celeb roster (not a new thing if you are familiar with LA) but when it comes to anyone not likely to be seen in the pages of a tabloid they are less then helpful and more than rude and snobby. It's not cool enough to put up with that.

I guess I went here on one of thier Rock and Bowl nights or something because there was an hour wait for a lane. Its definately not worth it because this place is exactly like any other bowling alley. There isn't even a bar.

Met some friends there last weekend. After waiting an hour (which wasn't so bad-we went into the adjoining Jerry's Deli Bar for some STRONG drinks) we hit the lanes. Pretty expensive but by the end of the night it was well worth it. Great tunes, strong drinks, cute waitresses, and fun bowling.

Sports Center Bowl is a fun, clean, family friendly bowling spot. Beware though, bowling can be deceptively expensive here. One game of bowling with shoe rental will run you around $20. If you bring your little kids, the bowling alley will oblige and put up bumpers so your tots can hurl the ball and be sure to never put one in the gutter. There is a also a great game room with air hockey! As well as a lot of newer video games which will entertain the kiddies once the thrill of bowling wears off.
