used to go to this church as a youngster before Walt Gerber that was a former Baptist preacher. This used to be a very traditional Presbyterian church on the likes of Calvary Presbyterian in San Francisco, Burlingame Presbyterian, First of Palo Alto amongst others. Now they are no more Presbyterian than the man in the moon if you ask me. Gone are the robes..not a lot of hymns..Praise Music, No Gloria or Kyrie of Lords Prayer(not often) or Doxologies or Creeds..this more of a non denominational! What would you expect..the designated Pastor here is from Willw Creek Church in Chicago a non denominational...who would of heard of such a thing. There adjunct campuses " Open Door" in Mt View and San Mateo..are the same. For us raised Presbyterian...you might as well put a sign that says Non Denominational or Seeker" church or Baptist. I bet you they dont even hold fast to many reformed teaching and beliefs..what a shame!!

After visiting several times, I feel the services are a great blend of traditional and contemporary worship with good biblical teaching by a pastor who communicates with warmth, compassion and integrity.
I love the building!
4This is a great preschool for kids. THe place is very clean and spacious. The staff is ncie and friendly. They have a ncie play area that is separated for kids of different ages. The preschool has a wonderful location and is really convenient to drop off and pick up your kids.

I went to this church for years with my family, and the building itself is very ornate, complete with stain glass windows, vaulted ceilings, a large organ on the balcony, and a choir that wears robes.
It is a very traditional-looking place, and there is a children's sermon about 20 minutes into the service, after which kids follow the children's minister out to another building while the adults remain to listen the the sermon.
The place is especially crowded at Christmas and easter, where they pull out all the stops (huge christmas trees, bouquets of flowers, etc etc) to elaborately decorate the sanctuarty.
