walk right up to the counter and order from the wide variety of crepe's. from hot to cold to desert style they all are very good. it's so hard to decide what to get so its best to share with others that way you can try more then one kind.

Wonderful variety of food. Lots of vegan / vegetarian options. Food is fresh, delicious, plentiful, reasonably priced. Casual atmo includes a few outdoor tables. Harried staff, but the job gets done. Noisy and busy, especially on the weekend. Prepare to wait a while. So worth it!

Pros: Food quality, large menu

Cons: can get noisy, spotty service

This is my idea of healthy eating--not necessarily low-fat or low carb, but not processed and cooked on the spot. The savory crepes come with yummy potatoes and a nice, lightly dressed salad. There are also a number of egg dishes, sandwiches, and large salads, and of course sweet crepes for dessert. Though there is some variety in the form of the food, it's not hard to see that you're mostly getting the same ingredients in different guises. Since this is the Bay Area, that means a lot of veggies and quasi-ethnic stuff: avocados, olives, feta, etc. It stays open later than most places in the area--10 or 11 on most nights. Vegetarian friendly. Free refills on some drinks.
AC Transit #51, a block south of Rockridge BART.

PROS: Long hours
CONS: CASH ONLY

The Crepevine has a full menu of crepes, though you won't find any of the truly traditional ones here. Instead, there's one with feta and olives, one with curry, one with seared tuna...you get the idea. I recommend the "Bombay," myself. As far as the sweet crepes go, your enjoyment will be directly related to how much you like Nutella.

The iced drinks and juices are good here too.

The Crepevine offers all kinds of wonderful crepes, both sweet and savory. They're not the kind you hold like a burrito, there's so much goodness inside, you need a plate and fork! The savory fillings go beyond ham and cheese - you can find things like kalamata olives, spinach, feta, or grilled tofu. The sweet crepes are just at sinful, and they do offer the good ol nutella and bananas. For the crepephobes, they also have pasta dishes and giant salads. The average crepe is about $5.

PROS: Crepes Galore!
CONS: The noise factor.
